Candlestick torn down
Three months ago Candlestick being torn down
San Franciscans - who hold dear - this land of the Ohlone - know what is takes to take most anyone to a better - place. In this land of the Ohlone.
We have everything going for us in San Francisco - the land, the climate, the people, food from all over the world - everything - accept the actions of those the greedy few - who want more and more.
Greedy folks who focus on money and greed - have only place - that leads them to - hell.
Many a San Franciscan - those that have lived here for years - often spent some time at Candlestick Stadium.
All those experiences from that one place -today is long gone - history - Candlestick Stadium - is no more.
At the many historic events, the games -
baseball - football - one of kind "concerts" - they all hold those memories - close to the heart of many a noble San Franciscan.
In 1989 - at the Baseball Championship - thousands witnessed - " the Big One " - as the Earth rumbled .
There was silence - heart throbs - and then as the announcements were made - in silence - everyone evacuated.
The "Beatles" made history when they decided to play at Candlestick Park - others depending where they come from and what they aspire too - have their favorite moments.
That is all that remains of
Today, the "Stick" as it was affectionately called - lies down - its walls torn asunder - and among the rubble - the concrete crushed - the crumbling walls brought down - and just one single portion of the "escalator" - still kept - for what reason - no one knows.
Nothing left but crushed concrete
and crushed memories
Failed the fans from San Francisco - and in a way the thousands of families that left San Francisco - started with the events linked to Candlestick Stadium - the 49ers themselves choosing to go South - away from San Francisco and all today - dirty politics stand for.
The "thug politicians" - the ones that now appear in the poorly written columns of the locals newspapers - with all shenanigans, ploys, and machinations revealed for the public to read.
Mayor Edwin M. Lee statements when asked questions about his nefarious activities are tongue in cheek - after different from the many - " press conferences" - the many ribbon cutting ceremonies - dubbed by the other crooks - as one of the worst - this side of River Colorado:
Few can make sense of what is happening to San Francisco City Hall - while Mayor Edwin M. Lee caught in the web - spins more lies and has opened a can of worms.
Who accepted bribes - who filled their sordid campaign coffers - who was paid to play - and who was paid to "kill"?
" Here is San Francisco we do better than those in New York - we do not have to fill forms - and we leave no trace" - like words uttered by a former " thug" Mayor of San Francisco.
Millions of dollars were expanded to build a Shopping Mall - years ago - and the plan killed - even as it tried to stand up and show it ugly head.
Now in 2015 the plans to build a "shopping mall" and some housing for those that cannot afford the housing - all on - very contaminated ground and more flooding. The unstable ground is prone to - liquefaction.
Alice Griffith has been divided - and divisiveness - is now "rooted" in all the wheeling and dealing. The local leaders - have all been bought - as least those - who have a "loud" - mouth.
At Hunters Point - nothing good seems to be happening at Parcel A - which is just one of many - parcels - one among ten and growing. The most toxic and contaminated - Parcel E2.
On this toxic site - plans are afoot to build a " Solar Farm" - we call Solar - clean energy.
Clean Energy and high levels of radioactive elements recorded on Hunters Point Naval Shipyard do not go hand in hand.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is leading the charge. Time will tell.
Here are some memories of a time - when Candlestick was packed - and people came - left their worries elsewhere - shared good memories at the Stick - and went home relaxed and happy.
In the good old days - when the "Stick"
stood tall and those that were inside
enjoyed - all those events - one of a kind.
