EVERY LIFE COUNTS - AND MORE THOSE OF INFANTS, CHILDREN, YOUTH, YOUNG ADULTS - THOSE THAT HAVE SO MUCH TO OFFER - TO THE WORLD AND UNIVERSE.

THIS EARTH IS FOR ALL TO SHARE

Our Nation has shamed itself 

ripped infants from a Mother's care

taken to detention centers
Texas and elsewhere

where cries lay bare 

Homeland - tarnished actions - the culprits - dare share
their hand caught in the cookie jar

America has always been that voice 

the world has heard and listened to

our charitable organizations have laid the ground

caring, sharing, nurturing - setting the norm
Donald Trump and his lackeys - have with intent

created a mess - thrown things asunder - 

why so much divisiveness - we wonder !

No infant, no child, no suffering mother 

that has borne the pangs to bring life 

should suffer - so many, immigrant parents - wondering - why?

where is my baby - I prefer to die

Homeland security - has committed criminal actions - 
in truth - it cannot deny

Our Senators, our Congresspersons - they talk a lot

they have No clue - the trauma - the harm 

betrayal, vain talk - fake charm -
legislation vague - going no where 

suffering daily - these infants - endure so much -

something. inside their being - does not materialize -
time will tell 

God has been good - to bring to our notice

the evil deeds - emitting from the White House

Racist actions - BLOOD on their hands

for all their talk - kicking the can down the street -
 late actions - and more

these evil women and men - have no friends

The infants and children - they come to America

to find a better life - fleeing terror 

each life is precious - seeking asylum -
crossing so many a barrier - 

America must stand tall and represent -  humanity -

This land - once known as Turtle Island

must take a stand

We are millions - gathered all over the Nation

We are committed to speak truth to power

There is no place - on this Earth - that treasures humanity -
more we do - 

Now is our moment - to stand in unity

God bless every child - and have mercy

on those that have spread this unwanted cruelty.
