When recently Standard and Poors - a rating agency - down graded our ability to borrow money - we as a Nation felt bad.


Not since 1917 was our economy down graded. Now this grade from a AAA to AA+ - that most lay persons know little about - matters most.


Not because they understood it much - but because some entity was looking down at us. We as a Nation, a Super Power feel that we deserve the best. We do. But  is this case Congress and the Senate have let the Nation down.


Mostly the Republican Party - and the main culprit in recent time - George W. Bush Jr. who stole the elections from Al Gore.


The U.S. Government was quick to say that most everything was in order. In fact some in the U.S. Government shot back and said openly that Standard and Poors - had an inherent two trillion dollar - miscalculation - and that we as a Super Power - deserved better.


What most folks do not know is that for months Standard and Poors - have been having discussions on every level - within the United States - and informing the Government - when it would -put out a Press Release - to ease the labor pains of those that created this mess.


Today, the fact is our Bond Rating is tied to this Standard and Poor's (S&P) rating - and our economic for the first time - judged internationally by this measure - as spiraling down wards. There is no telling.


No, you not need to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.


Now, borrowing money at all levels will be difficult. And this more so on the State Level.


All these huge projects in San Francisco - be it the Central Subway, the TranBay, the High Speed Rail, the Sewer System Improvement Project - are tied to to Standards and Poor's, Moodys, and the many other financial institutions that our City and County of San Francisco has relations with and panders to.


Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, the financial institutions involved with the sub-prime loans, the deceiving derivatives, the other fake loans linked to ploys and machinations - has it tentacles deep within each SF City and County fiscal - borrowing.


Our Nation is spiritually bankrupt.


Materialism is our "god" and we have not learned much from our huge Empires that fell on their face. Greed and Gluttony brought down the Roman Empire. Others as well.


If you look at the many obese people, the increase in diseases, the lack of spirituality, the increase in possessing things just for the sake of possessing them  - the signs have been written on the wall.


Fasting is good and we must learn from Ramadan and other such noble and holistic practices.


Not too long ago China who has trillions of our dollars - and is shoring up its own currency - rebuking the United States for not knowing how to keep our fiscal house in order and execute our fiduciary responsibilities - has boldly stated that it will tie its monetary system with some other currency and move away from the United States - dollar.


China nor any other nation would not able to utter such statements some years ago - today, we the United States are laughed at, rebuked for our foolishness, and we have nothing much to say. Except to pander.


It is not impossible for Brazil, Russia, India and China to create it own currency backed by gold and other valuable assets and equity.


The BRIC currency could work - because right now - these countries are poised to move ahead and their economies in control.


It does not help when our Congress and Senate behaved like kids - during the debt ceiling - debacle.


In all the deliberations Blame It on Bush (BIOB) was uttered many times - but in a nonchalant manner.


George W. Bush Jr. wasted billions - and this man - must be made accountable and since he belonged to the drab Republican Party - the Republican Party that has created the mess we all are in.


Spiritually this Nation is bankrupt and materialism has taken us away from the path of decency, truth, standing for what is right and living within our means.


People get high for the sake of getting high.


Eat for the sake of eating.


Buy stuff  just to feel good.


Watch Television with no other intention then to feel good; waste precious time - and watch the many shallow shows full of gossip, games shows, and mostly mundane stuff.


Few TV stations  offer materials that elevate the soul, the mind, and take you to a better - place.


It does not help if one sits on a couch and gobble  - they call them couch potatoes. Obesity galore!


People fail to educate themselves on issues.


Have no clue what the world issues that really matter are?


In short we as a Nation have lost our mind.


We have wasted trillions trying to fight wars that are none of our business. We must learn to stay at home and address our own - issues. 


The American people keep saying that - but our Congress person and Senators think - other wise. Now, if they do so - they must be removed - no one should serve more then two terms. That will teach them a lesson.


The Main Media is full of crap - mostly drama and generalities - full of deceit.


Imagine CNN telling us they are the best in giving us news? CNN is drama and anyone addicted to CNN must go and have his or her self - checked. Worse Fox News and MNBC.


These Television channels - present pieces of drab news - followed by advertisements that are shallow - the end result you create dummies who attention span is less then a minute.


Constantly feeding fake news that is not worthy - and  bombarding the mind with "crap".


All over America - just like you have junkies on the street - mostly addicted on something - now you have millions at home - fed "news" that is really "nonsense". Media moguls like us Murdoch and others - that have no morals, no standards, and are corrupt.


This whole thing about the "debt ceiling" debate has opened the eyes of many Americans.


Now, many are seeing what is happening on the streets of Israel.


What is happening in Spain and Greece.


Ireland and Portugal.


In Italy and soon in France and Germany.


America can save itself only if it gains its spiritual integrity.


Our large Financial Institutions must be regulated - not once has this issue been discussed in detail. If not dismantle the large financial institution and Insurance Companies.


They keep adversely impacting our Nation - what is so difficult to dismantle them - one at a time - and create fresh institutions. We should not have bailed them without - triggers.


Our banks must be ordered to give our tax payers money back. 


We the tax payers bailed these "evil banks" and no one asked our permission. Today, the banks are sitting on trillions of dollars.


In a worse case scenario all the banks could be Nationalized.


 Just like that trillions of dollars would be free - to be invested in our "failing infrastructure", our education, our health and safety programs.


No pork barrel projects, no giving the Department of Defense billions that it wastes.


The old days are history. We can put our Nation on track in five years.


One time opportunity for off shore accounts to be brought back - and levied a ten percent tax. Over five trillion dollars will come back and be invested.


Then just like that we can truly pass judgement on Standard and Poors a rating agency and the credit cared companies.


Moodys, and the other rating and lending companies - that trigger and send mixed signals all the time.


Standard and Poors acted in one way when it came to  the United States but did not do that with the European countries. Millions of people lost millions of Euros and that is not fair.


However, bottom line - materialism and greed does not make humanity better. Never has. Spirituality does.


Even as America, Europe, and Asia eat, live, and make merry. Daily thousands of innocent children are dying in Sudan, Somalia, and Kenya. Where is the justice?


In Texas where George W. Bush lives (BIOB) there has been an on going drought, over 100 degree temperatures for weeks - lakes dried up, crops withering, live stock dying - the signs of the time.


Where is your spirituality America? Where is your leadership in matters that count?


Once the world RESPECTED us - not any more.


The Congress and Senate has led this Nation - down the path of disgrace.

Today - on Wall Street saw a spiraling down fall of over 500 points. Serious enough to put the economists on notice and bankers running for cover. 


The drab settlement regarding the United States - debt ceiling does not mean much - in this current economic climate.


The Nations influenced by the weakening Euro - are forcing the Euro Nations - to throw their hands up.


The factor that has caused everyone to ponder - the lack of jobs - and millions of people have not worked in years.


Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy - and soon France and Germany.


The small nations that are connected with the Euro - will be drowned as this weakening of the Euro - rises like a Tsunami and leaves all those in the path - victims.


The world economic more since 2008 have left a sour taste in the mouths of those that saved their money - 401 Ks and so on.


Many remember when their accounts reflected heavy losses in 2008. I do not know of one single friend - however wisely they banked their savings - however which way they invested - all lost more then 60% and some 80%. What a crying shame.


The banks have no sympathy; and when in the United States - tax payers bailed the banks there was glee on the faces of the bankers.


Sorrow still lingers with the victims - U.S. tax payers.


Since 2008 - the economic situation all over the world has not recovered and anyway you look at it - most of this virus started with huge financial institutions like AIG, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and the other larger institutions one worse then the other.


To this day - our Nation does not have check and balances - to deal with the larger financial institutions - who get money for less then one percent and loan it for more.


The repercussions of the many derivatives, the sub-prime loans - were ploys and machinations.


People in some large financial institutions - with intent - stealing and playing havoc with the accounts and lives of innocent - people.


More Seniors who lost most of their savings - and others who worked hard to save their money - only for those whose mantra is GREED - to cause havoc linked to innocent people, their incomes, their peace of mind - to their lives.


In some cases causing stress and even death.


America must wake up - and even as we crawl into 2012 - we will not see - this global crisis - recover.

This recent drop on Wall Street and the Stock Exchange - is all about - our economical growth moving at a snail's space.


Our Nation thought for the longest time that is was fine to have one dollar in our pocket and spend one million dollars.


Today, we have a glaring $14 Billion deficit - and more on the way.


Today's news reveals that on every level there is no movement to bring about a quick recovery in our economy.


People are saving their money - and in San Francisco there is a glut for rental units - and people who have homes and owe money - have a difficult time - making their house payments.


We all hear from our friends and their dire economic straits.


Soon thousands of people will be protesting on the streets of this Nation as we see today in Spain and Greece.


In San Francisco - once there were hot spots - like the Bayview Hunters Point with over 40 percent unemployment.


Other places - will see higher unemployment - all over San Francisco. Those in City Government that wasted Stimulus Money on ploys and machinations - will wake to a new reality.


Just today - many large companies lost over $80 billion in Europe.


It is the same in the United States and tomorrow the details will be revealed.


It will not be easy for those that had money invested on the Stock Exchange - loose so much money - on one single day.


The European Nation are suffering - and the negative report at all levels in the United States - is a cloud that hovers with worse news.


Come Friday, August 5, 2011 - the job market data will reveal, really how strong our economy is. It will be one significant day - that will reveal the true empirical data - and that news cannot be one where the sun shines.


In the last 200 days plus the Republicans have not introduce one single bill linked to jobs. Now, they have gone home to their constituencies - who is asking these morons the right questions?


The debate on the debt ceiling and the role of the Young Turks and the Tea Party has not helped at all.


It is not that our United States Market is not hurting - the point is that most markets are drowning. There is now a big question mark about Italy. Can any of the European countries truly bail Italy? Was has the ability to do so - without sinking - even Germany?


The U.S. debts and European debts - are causing a fast spiral in most world economies - that matter all over this world - including Brazil.


Tomorrow, only the brave will stand tall and say that all is fine on the Western Front. 

Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy - it is spreading even as Europe tries to get a grip of its Euro.

Even as the Germans and the French tried their best to keep Greece a afloat - lending the Greeks money and trying practically every fiscal trick - nothing seems to be working.


Lurking the banks - many of them with roots in the United States trying to grab Real Estate in Greece - and leading the charge Goldman Sachs.


Paradoxically, I was told about this scenario over a year ago - by some banker I met in Auckland - and he worked for the World Bank.


He kept trying to push me off into that territory - where he thought - his bank and its ploys and machinations - knew best.


I listened and after forty five minutes asked him what he knew about sub-prime loans and derivatives. After which he asked me if I was a banker? I said: "What if I am?". He found some reason to excuse himself.


At one time Ireland had a booming economy. Ten years ago many computer firms were doing well in Ireland. Then one thing led to another - and boom - just like that - it shocked us that Ireland was sinking.


The economic mess in Greece, the salient but real fiscal woes of Portugal, Italy, Spain - are real and the Europeans are hurting.


In Spain people, educated people have NOT had good  jobs for years. In fact people - young people are fed up - and the many protest are turning violent - much as we saw in Greece and still see.


Some will be surprised to know that this scenario is on our door steps - right here in San Francisco - where there are hot spots - and unemployment is about 40 percent - if not more.


Here is California once the fifth largest world economy - we have 12 percent unemployment - Nation wide in the United States they say 9 percent.


When you count only the temporary jobs - many jobs that offer temporary succor - it is more like 24 percent in California and 20 percent Nationwide in the United States.


Here is San Francisco in many hot spots like the Bayview Hunters Point area - we have 40 percent unemployment and growing.


Yet you have the Interim Mayor - Ed Lee and the grinning District 10 Supervisor - attending some dog and pony shows - on Monday, August 1, 2011 - at 8:15 am on San Bruno Avenue opposite the Subway - at the North East Medical Clinic - that caters mostly to the Chinese.


The North East Medical Center is a bad neighbor - embracing some Ambassador Program - with drab leaders speaking about this program that is going no where. A dog and pony show - with little or no notice to the public at large. A place far away from the Bayview Hunters Point that is crime ridden.


Crime has increased but these politicians will smile, and spew diatribe and Ed Lee now talks and talks - and you know only an empty barrel does that.


He paints everything rosy - but, not once has the ability to analyze the Incident Reports and the ever increasing crime in the SF neighborhoods - where we never had too many shootings and killings - before.


It is the same in the Bayview - not too long ago - the Chief, Greg Suhr was invited to a Town Hall meeting - where pandemonium reigned supreme. The politicians were there - but fearing for their safety - sped away - only to talk about the situation at hand in whispers. It is the signs of the times. The ire of the people can set your pants on fire!


Chief Greg Suhr tried to address the agitated crowd and succeeded some - and has promised to come again - but we do not know - when.


When Gavin Newsom was there - he made use of the Stimulus Money - wasting millions - on programs he spoke of - as if the City and County of San Francisco was funding them.


City Build wasted millions - more for Administrative Purposes then for training - young people.


City Build is on its way out.


The gimmicks to have apprentice and pre-apprentice programs - rightly have to be initiated from the UNIONS.


SF Shine anyway you look at it - is a band-aid program - and what we are talking about FOOLS are career programs.


If the City has such programs and pays those that take them good wages - fine. But, the City is using mostly those that have fallen on bad times - to prop them up a little - for an even few months - and then let go of them - and the politicians are aware of this ploy - but foster these types of machinations and ploys. Do not play with the lives of people.


Here in the City of San Francisco with Gavin Newsom  and the Mayor's Office of Economic Development and Workforce - supported by former Supervisor of District 10 - dumb Sophie Maxwell - millions were wasted on City Build - most of it Stimulus Money.


The City of San Francisco is worse off with City Build and even worse with gimmicks that do not provide long term employment and good pay. Less still you cannot over-night bring solace to folks that have no education, less skills, cannot pass a PISS test, and if pretend that all is - well.


The Resource Center funded by the SF Redevelopment Agency is ripe with corruption. SF Redevelopment is on its way out - and should be for all the bad things it has done to the community at large.


Of course the Poverty Pimp Pastors -  folks like Aurelious Walker and Lola Whittle love money coming their way - that they can pander with and have in previous times - shafted the community.


Some other players in the Bayview that are the laughing stock of those that know - how things really work and make good stuff happen - all the time.


Fifteen years ago - with insight and a vision this City should have prepared skilled worked from San Francisco to work on projects like the Water System Improvement Project - but we did not.


We wasted $100 million on community related projects and benefits - Prime Companies that spent the money - and had NOTHING to show as a contribution to San Franciscans on a $4.2 Billion dollar project - and the 5 percent outreach and related programs on the $2.4 billion - San Francisco contribution to the total of $4.2 Billion - for the entire Water System Improvement Project.


Embracing AECOM and Parson with dubious entities like Dwayne Jones - there is more of the same coming down the pipe line - with the Sewer System Improvement Project - costing $6.9 Billion!


 Behind the scene Darius Anderson and the Platinum Associates - who if offered large sums of money by dubious contractors - use their power to deliver jobs on a PLATTER.


The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC)  should not embrace static - never mind - if it cannot think straight - feel straight - and deal straight with a mostly straight - community in the Bayview Hunters Point.


It is disgusting - to listen to the convoluted arguments on Clean Power, the Combustion Turbines that we shot down, Community Choice Aggregation that is riddled with false hopes, fake schedules, false promises - and a host of pertinent issues -  the community is kept in the dark.


When the community offers the SFPUC vetted choices and suggestion - drab, shallow, inexperienced mostly folks that do not feel or comprehend "straight folks" are brought in and given positions with high salaries - that ruin all the hard work of advocates that have fought the fight for years.


It is exactly in this manner that the economy begins to falter.


Idiots mostly in higher management - with no clue what is happening at ground zero - pandering to politicians, consultants, Prime Contractors, putting their faith in sordid Project Labor Agreements - ruin it for those tax payers that finally have to pay the bills.


We saw it recently with the Debt Ceiling - even though the politicians were screaming at every turn - "the American People" - none of them had the blessings of the American People.


" American People" has become a cliche - and it is time we put politicians and other so called shallow politicians on notice.


San Franciscans were hood winked with the Water System Improvement Project - hood winked. Joan, Emery (who passed away), and Steve Lawrence who is still fighting with Joan - know more - then most of the those pretending to know at SFPUC - about both the Clean Water and Waste Water system.


Most disgusting the Out Reach person - obese and talking from the sides of his mouth - attending meetings and pandering to entities such as Jacobs and I have seen the nonchalant, Humpty Dumpty - bring disgrace to the community - where there was once - some semblance.


He once lived in the community many years ago - not any more - and the few he counts as his friends are sell out - on the take and with not an iota of goodness and sound character.


This journey from Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy to our local neighborhoods is what you call connecting the dots. 


Drastic decision lead to drastic consequences. The problems is few can connect the dots.

Politicians use SPIN and the Media to make their point - but, people are savvy and the on line news - shred these wanna bees to smithereens.


Politicians that talk the talk and do not walk the walk.


Politicians that work for dubious entities like the Pacific Heights Mafia, the MACHINE - folks - like past Mayor's and his cronies; who should be shunned - but are glorified - for all their dubious dealings.


The protest that we see in Greece - are beginning to take root  - but, when it happens here - it will be too late.


The snitches, the moles, the sell outs, those on the take - will have their taste of the French Revolution. 


It will be a sad day - but one that is coming and those that grin and spew diatribe - must see the dawn of this day that is coming. Aho.

One camp near the Kenya border - within the borders of Kenya has over 500,000 refugees.


Thousands of children are dying - and we can do something - and the United States is doing something  - but more has to be done.


For too long the cradle of human kind has been exploited and today more than ever before - forces be it the United Nation, European Nation, the various Non-Governmental Organization, larger entities that provide relief must be helped.


Time is of essence.


At a recent hearing at the State Department - the details were explained before the various committees that deal with immigration, and such issues.


On this level it seems only the United States is doing something and on an urgent basis.


The problem is so big - that just thinking about it - would make any entity throw up its hands. 


It is about life and in America we treasure life.


Thousands of American constituents are helping but there are issues with donations - because of some protocol linked with terrorism and money that might reach - in the hands of terrorists. We must iron out these hurdles - and provide help to the NGOs that can be of - assistance.


What makes this issue all the more difficult are rogue elements that rape the women and kill the children.


Throw their bodies to rot in wells - and set fire to the thatched homes - forcing people to flee - only to follow them and kill them.


The Al Sabah roaming bandits have been in the area - forcing entities to pay bribes, stealing goods and food at gun point - terrorizing the innocent, ill nourished people. It is a pity that the world tolerates such atrocities.


The Uganda and near by African forces provide some security, under the umbrella of the United Nations - but in recent months - they too have fallen prey to the bandits.


Here is America we have our own issues and it does not help that George W. Bush Jr. took a surplus of $7 Billion and wasted it - and then raised our deficit to $14 billion.


The recent machinations involving the Tea Party and holding our Nation hostage - will back fire. These Tea Party goons have no compassion. They do not  have second thoughts about depriving poor people in the United States - of their needs - education, health, safety, transportation and other Quality of Life issues.


These same mundane  folks will not blink an eye, show no compassion if you relay to them the thousands dying in Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, and Kenya - they could not care less.


Brazil, India, China, Russia, and the Arab countries could help. However, they leave it to the United States to do such noble deeds.


It is time China step up and use its dollar reserves to help the needy.


In Africa - China builds stadium to pacify the Africans. Has been known to invest in oil reserves, exploiting the resources of Africa.


Dumping cheap goods and exploiting the Africans that have little money to spare.


The Arab Nations have a tie with all of Africa - from the days of slavery - and now is the time for them to step up and help and perform good deed. More - during this month of Ramadan.


Saudi Arabia, Qatar, other rich Arab countries - could do better - but they have not done so. This bias towards the darker skin Africans - is inherent in their way to thinking - a mentality that does humanity - no good.


I was born in Nairobi, Kenya - and it pains my heart to see so many infants and children die.


I wrote about this situation and the lingering drought - a couple of times - and feel that it helps even if a few - step up and do something about this horrific -  situation.


This GENOCIDE that affects and has  devastated - Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan and Kenya - can be stopped if the more richer Nations on this Earth - contribute and make good things - happen.

The Tea Party is not worth their salt - anyway you look at it. Some 67 members within the Republican Party - that are backed by millions of dollars - and some powerful corporations that have made BILLIONS.


Much as it is a JOKE for the current Speaker of the HOUSE to say that he won 98% of what he wanted - linked to the debt ceiling negotiations. The Republican Party and he is sadly  mistaken.


These two shallow entities will get their response - November, 2011.


The Republican Party will face the wrath of the American People. More Seniors, those that need help most - for our Nation is a compassionate Nation.


For a long time there have been powerful forces - a few of them that have got large tax breaks that have been backing the Tea Party types.


Folks that do not have the better interests of the American People.


Now, these powerful forces have been blatant enough to deprive people in some areas; in these the United States of American from registering to vote. 


Bringing hurdles and making it difficult for mostly minorities to access registration places - and depriving these worthy minorities of amenities to cast their vote - and more disrespecting our core - American values.


Most sane people fully comprehend - the debt ceiling issue is a totally separate issue - that we all could have dealt with some months ago.


It was totally wrong to tie the debt ceiling to the run away economy, the lack of jobs, and ploys and machinations of Wall Street by mostly the Tea Party - jerks.


Not to mention the folks that brought about the failure of our economy using sub-prime loans and derivatives - ploys laid firm - on the Republican watch. 


Today, all over the world - many sovereign nations are laughing at us. But soon they will have nothing to do with us.


Nations such as Brazil, Russia, India and China - the BRIC nations - could easily start their own currency fiefdom with their own model to control a shaky currency such as the United States dollar.


When the Stock fell over 200 points on Wall Street Stock Exchange - and the Standard and Poor indicator went below its steady indicator - these two institutions were telling the Tea Party; shallow enthusiasts, young immature Turks - that for all their hostage taking - the general economy of the United States has years to go - before it walks straight and moves in the right - direction.


In the last 200 days plus - the Republican Party has not brought about - one single piece of legislation - to favor and create  jobs.


What does that tell you?


The Tea Party and the Speaker of the House - for all the crocodile tears he sheds - are shallow. They talk the talk but cannot walk the walk.


So, when Putin says something rude about the way we do business on the world stage - so called Representatives holding our Nation hostage - none of that would be tolerated - in any other part of the civilized world.


The President is right about talking about raising taxes and should focus on the Tax Code and bring the large corporations that having a good time - making millions - out sourcing, and hoarding billions in off shore accounts - rein them in and give them an ultimatum.

When a Democrat, President Bill Clinton was in office we had a $7 billion - surplus.


Then when the weasel George W. Bush Jr. became President; using the Supreme Court to favor him - we created a $14 billion dollar - deficit.


He by the way was a lousy leader, inept and a Republican.


The Republicans must be ashamed of themselves - and on the world scene they are treated like - skunks - and rightly so.


So, stop looking at the President of the United States and blaming him for everything. The Democrats as well as the Republicans have a responsibility.


It was the Republicans that took a $7 billion surplus - and ran our Nation economy - down. Go Figure!

From a 7 Billion dollar PLUS to a 14 Billion dollar BUST - our economy spirals towards the stars into one big black hole.

From a $7 billion plus during the time of President Bill Clinton to a $14 billion BUST - we created this cesspool.


This economy now is spiraling towards the stars - heading into one BIG black hole.


There are ways to divert this mess - but it needs the help of all concerned.


No one; should blame President Barack Hussein Obama for this mess - it is the collective responsibility of the House, the Senate, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Secretary of the Treasury - that have got us all in this mess.


Where are the checks and balances?


We have to rein this nonsense - uncontrollable  spending.


Now, for the first time - everyone is looking at the same page. We can look at the old pages forever - it will do us no good.


The 12 members task force with some determination, and with the triggers in mind - can steer this big, big - ship in mid-ocean - and put it on the right course.


Then, whether we all like it or not - we, all must contribute and act as responsible constituents and citizens of America - and hold our REPRESENTATIVES accountable.


Believe me; I learned this a long time ago - we all can  keep on talking and have something to offer that can make a difference - any one can make a difference.


The problems with our country is that we permitted the Main Media to fill our head with gossip and other mundane stuff.


The Main Media has NOT been forthright - and truly speaking we must do our home work - to discern and learn to look at the best information and empirical data to be better informed - and educated.


The newspapers we read contribute to the sources of good or not so good information.


The New York Time, the LA Times, the Washington Post, the Mercury News - but not the drab newspapers that we have now floating in San Francisco - the Examiner and the Chronicle.


Those that have access to online newspapers too must learn to discern.


There is a lot of information out there - but, the ability to filter and choose the best information - is linked to quality education and this becomes our pertinent - valid education.


We are a Nation of Compassion - and so those Representative that fought for needed entitlements - be it Social Security and Medicare and other relevant - entitlements - need to be commended.


We still have many Representatives that can stand up for what is right.


The Young Turks - within the Republican Party will not address the Billions of dollars that George W. Bush Jr. wasted - entering two wars and giving large tax breaks to Corporations that really do not need them.


What can be done is change the territorial tax code and encourage the corporation to bring their money back home?


Tax this money less and help the corporations to invest in Research and Development.


There are other methods too - and the Internal Revenue Service code linked to large corporation must change - so that all pay; taxes proportionately - to uplift our dire economic situation.


The Department of Defense must tighten its belt - no excuses.


Billions have been wasted on equipment that have failed our Nation again and again - we have seen this with the Hummer, the fighter jets, and all the information is available for review and adjudication. Billions of dollars thrown down the drain.


The private armies that we know are there - committing atrocities on innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan must stop.


We must stop interfering in the business of other countries - and stay home and put our house in order.


There must be a way to incorporate the constituents to give quality feed back that is documented - in the addressing of this default.


We cannot permit the young Turks with the Tea Party that are pompous, and have a hidden agenda - to high jack a process and hold the Representatives and our Nation - hostage. 


This nonsense mus stop once and for all.


All Representatives must take a 15% cut in their salaries. Learn first to walk the walk and less talk the talk.


In the last 200 plus days not one piece of legislation has been introduced by the Republican Party linked to jobs. Speaks volumes about how these folks care about our Nation.


We all have a very narrow window of opportunity to tackle the urgent issues linked to the betterment of our Nation - that can revive our economy. 


There are issues linked to education, housing, health, safety - our aging infrastructure, and so and so forth.
  
The input should follow some given and qualified standards -  without the input of the constituents, the citizens of this Great Nation - will be let down again. We must stand up for our rights.


Finally, nothing has been signed not a dot on the paper to raise the debt ceiling.


Nothing; signed to tackle the really issues affecting our deficit at home and abroad.


The President spoke once and said an agreement has been reached - and the world was pacified. The world took him on his word. Wow!


The House has voted in favor of raising the debt ceiling.


We have yet to get the positive vote in the Senate.


Never ever - has such a process been executed on the world screen - affecting the entire world economy.


For the first time - the entire world does not want the world economy to fail.


We already have serious issues in Portugal, Greece, Spain, Italy, and the world economic virus is spreading. Something must give - but, then some model must be put in place - to bring stability.


Finally it is about spirituality - and the spiritual bankruptcy that we see led by large financial institutions that have put too much focus on money and greed. J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, other too dubious to mention.


Greed begets greed and greed has only one direction - a low point.


Not so - spirituality and compassion it brings out the best of us human beings - and takes us all to a better place.

It is all about compromise and finding the common denominator to sit down and settle the issue at hand.

The recent "debt ceiling" debacle is one that has shown this Nation - that it is all about sitting down, participating , finding out the common denominators, compromise - and settling the issues at hand.


Perhaps for the first time those that were totally out of touch with the wheeling and dealing in Washington DC  realized that it was time to act.


Never before, did the House that is the Congress and the Senate - receive so many emails and other types of communications from the American People.


Mostly Seniors organized groups played an important part - held the feet of the "policy makers" to the fire.


That one question to the head of the military - " will we receive our military pay?" set the tone - and woke up those that talk the talk but cannot walk the walk - in recent days.


It is one think to go to war and waste billions of dollars.


It is quiet another thing - to be asked what are you doing for the troops - and fail to get an answer. Well, that issue has been settled for now. We must be vigilant at home - and not take the lives of our military for granted.


Not all is well on the Western Front.


We, as a Nation - now, have to tighten our "spending belts" - and this must be done with a bi-partisan task force - 6 Republicans and 6 Democrats.


This bi-partisan task force - who can and should set the tone; truly representing the Nation - linked to our fiduciary and fiscal - responsibilities.


The Nation must not be held hostage.


The drama could not have been played in a better manner. The President stepping up to the podium - minutes before the Asian Markets opened - and stating that the United States Congress and Senate - has reached an agreement.


This is before - any sign document is in place. Which shows the world the power of the President of the United States of America.


This could not be done by the Europeans who are having severe problems in Greece, Italy, France, Portugal, and Spain. Germany is trying to prop up some but its day is approaching.


Here at home - we have three major factors that are in our favor.


Our population some 311 million is small and powerful, poised, controllable - compared - to the population of say China and India in the billion - plus.


We have a land mass that has vast resources and we are blessed in this land that belongs to the Native Americans and must NOT forget that, ever - Aho.


Thirdly, and mostly important - our human resources are critical to the world. It is here that our tax reform is pertinent - to change the tax codes and foster more Research and Development. Return billions back to the United States with tax initiatives - that can create jobs and focused investment.


Our oil companies and companies like General Electric that do not pay their fare share - must step up - the loop holes closed - once and for all.


Our Congress and Senators must now focus on our people. Those Seniors and others that must be respected. This segment of the population will speak loud and clear - in the coming elections - not only on the National level - but on the local level - too.


Our Educational system revamped to meet world - needs. Most major countries that are doing well with their economies - are investing in education - not so here in the United States.


Tuition and other vital resources to many students are at a premium and students are suffering - especially those that are - poor.


We the people, bailed our banks and we have not forgotten the machinations linked to sub-prime loans, derivatives, and so on.


The U.S. Banks and the Credit Card companies - must be put on notice on - to make the necessary loans without harassing the customers and constituents first - who are really the ones to whom the money belongs. We bailed the suckers out!


Banks are sitting on trillions of dollars. 


On another level - the larger financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan are are positioning themselves to take over assets in Europe.


This chess game has been going on for years - but the details will be revealed soon.


These money mongers full of "greed" have learned nothing much - from past mistakes. Some of them are so bold - that they are openly preying on victims - in Europe and here in the United States. Nothing much has changed - not even with Congressional hearings.


It does not help that the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank too - have models that do not work.


Those that do not have equity - simply do not stand a chance. And if you are a Nation like the many European Nations and African Nations - and do not play by the rules that favor the IMF and World Bank - then you fall - prey. They control your assets and put a choke hold on you.


Spain for example does not want to have anything with both these fiduciary, dubious world organizations the World bank and the IMF.


Not all has been settled here at home in the United States.


In the short and long run - we must be vigilant - our fiscal woes will have to  be resolved - by spending less and tightening our belts.


It is wrong to have one dollar in our pocket and spend a million. That is what our Nation has done - with inept folks like George W. Bush Jr. - in recent times.


To be fair the last Stimulus Package did not help. Our true unemployment rate they say is 9% but it is more like 20%. Those millions that have not worked in three years - are not counted.


There are lots of temporary jobs without benefits. No real jobs with benefits - more career jobs that really count. 


In the final analysis we must gauge our Nation's progress by the Middle Class that counts - our educational standard - we must be educated on issues.


We failed this time - miserably not comprehending the "debt ceiling" - because the first time around - we permitted ploys like - derivatives, sub-prime loans to rein us in and do us in.


Did not check our Congress persons and Senators - those that have been in power for too long - making tons of money - and doing us in.


These so called Representative must not have more then two terms - we must replace them - and send to Congress and the Senate - fresh blood, people who can work hard and represent better.


Not folks like the Tea Party who are a disgrace to humanity and this Nation. Trust no one that hold the Nation hostage - there must be a way to send these folks to jail - for a long, long time.


We the American People must be consulted - and we must not allow drab, shallow, inept - so called Representatives to use the words and think for a moment that using the words " American People " as a cliche - will fool all the people - all the time. Aho.
