REMEMBERING THE 400 YEARS OF SLAVERY - THE FREEDOM OF THE SLAVES - THE LEGACY LEFT BY AFRICAN AMERICANS - ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Frederic Douglass
(1818-1895)

We all remember the slaves and the wicked ways of the times when slaves were treated as chattel. Our Nation has been weak in the knees to apologize and more do the right thing.

Those of us that know better - are living - paying NO attention to our ancestors and the legacy they have left - the many rights they fought for - so that we can enjoy - genuine, freedom.

There is freedom and there is license - abuse of freedom is license  - we must unite and lead the fight for justice and fair play. We cannot do this - if our heart in not in the right place - and if we cannot take others to a better place.

The 400 year anniversary of the first arrival of slaves from Mozambique be they were some 20 - brought here against their will.

Harriet Tubman

Thousands more slaves - that were brought on the shores of America - and contributed to the wealth of America - must not be taken for granted -  retribution - must be made - sooner the better.

Some remember the promise made a mule and 40 acres of land - promises made but not kept - where is his justice - watered down justice of sorts.

The history of indentured labor, then slavery, the despicable ways to dishonor and demean Blacks and use the Bible and other evil laws to demean a human being - is not something we must take lightly.

I was born in Nairobi, Kenya - the land of the human race.

Yet more and more the House Negros that we have in San Francisco - have NOT uttered a word about the recent meetings held - all over the Nation - recalled slavery and so much that is connected with slavery - including the nonsense that is going on today at the White House.

Here on the West Coast and more San Francisco - our House Negros are fast asleep at the cockpit. They are still pandering to the Whites - and when confronted to speak Truth to Power - they loose their cool.

Brothers ready to honor the Buffalo Soldiers
with a little help from our Sisters and Brothers
from the East Coast  - the House Negros here in
San Francisco have missed the boat, the bus,
the train and the plane .......

Great leaders the likes of Dubois and Frederick Douglas on the East Coast.

Mary Allen Pleasant and Captain Charles Young representing the Buffalo Soldiers stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco.

William Alexander Leidesdorff, Henry Wagner Halleck a U.S. Commanding General who built the 100 series brick buildings on Montgomery Street on the Main Post at the Presidio of San Francisco.

I have organized too many Black History month celebration - over the last 35 years - at my own expense - and those attending the events - Blacks are astounded, perplexed and confounded not having a clue about their own Black history.

Lethargic and not willing to step up and learn more about the ancestors and the utter determination by those that came here unwillingly - but thought sheer determination -  tenacity and fortitude - left a stellar - legacy.

It is not that some of us historians cannot gather the information and educated some.

It is the lack of enthusiasm - for history and love for our ancestors.

The House Negros do more harm than good.

You must just attend or view the circus on television - with Al William as the MC  and other lackeys  - shaming African Americans for sure - and doing us all a disfavor - trying to put on a shabby show - with nothing so ever - informing us all - of the legacy left by Black in the past.

Captain Charles Young -

studied at West Point -

should have been a general - but was denied his right.

Here in San Francisco we must build a Buffalo Soldiers' Museum and we can have a permanent First Class exhibit at the Moscone Center.

The Buffalo Soldiers accompanied the Pioneers to California and the Pioneers have a Museum why not the Buffalo Soldiers? It has just been expanded have thousands of square feet - and we can honor our Buffalo Soldiers and at the same time - show case San Francisco.

I am requested Mohammed Nuru and Naomi Kelly to put their heads together and get back to me. I will do all the heavy lifting - all we need is the space.

Let me put it - this way - we have over $10 million in Buffalo Soldiers' memorabilia, artifacts, photographs, one of kind military uniforms, other important information - linked to the all Black Buffalo Soldiers.

The artifacts and memorabilia have visit places all over the world - here in the United States too - and seen by many in San Francisco and other California cities - even the Black Museum in Washington D.C.

We have many Buffalo Soldiers' buildings at the San Francisco Presidio of San Francisco and not one of them is Landmarked and dedicated to the famous and well known - Buffalo Soldiers - where the public can visit the building or building and learn more about the contribution of the Buffalo Soldiers. Shame on the Presidio Trust and the National Park Service.

Since the local House Negros have let us down - we are reaching to the East Coast and hope to bring about some drastic change - to the blatant discrimination shown to the famous all Black Buffalo Soldiers - here in San Francisco.

The famous Buffalo Soldiers  - made famous by the song by reggae singer and song write - Bob Marley - my good friend his son Ziggy Marley too.

Buffalo soldiers known - to all decent human beings - all over the world - Libya, France, Italy, Germany, Cuba.

The Philippines, Burma, China, Japan, all over the Untied States of America - more here on the West Coast - the southern border, the famous National Parks Yosemite, Sequoia, the Presidio of San Francisco and more.

The Standard Operating Procedures were written by Captain Charles Young - how to maintain and operated the so called Federal Lands. The SOP was handed over to the National Park Service that was formed in 1916.

The Buffalo Soldiers were at the Presidio in the early 1900s - the 9th and 10 the Calvary - the 24th and 25th Infantry Regiment.

As I have said over 500 Buffalo Soldiers are interred at the Veteran Cemetery - at the Presidio of San Francisco. The world must be exposed to this history - and I am determined to make it happen. More with the help of Mr Brent Leggs.

I am reaching out to Brent Leggs, Gloria Browne-Marshal, Roger Fairfax others who are in the know - and expose the House Negros who talk the talk but fail to walk the walk on the West Coast.

Make the Buffalo Soldiers' Museum a reality.

Let us make no mention of the Black London Breed who is SF Mayor's and is not educated on issues - less on Black History of importance.

Blacks like Malia Cohen, Shamann Walton - these folks are a disgrace - and have nothing substantial to offer - and must step up and do something - before they drown in the cesspool of their own creation.

Imagine having the same Black Al Williams - each and every year - putting a dog and pony show - Black History month with nothing viable and sustainable - drab act each and every years.

Some Black leader like Amos Brown and some others - who are so locked up in the past - Smithsonian - and have nothing fresh and invigorating - to offer to our young African Americans or Blacks.

Here in the Bay Area we have Mr Anthony Powell - a stellar and premier Buffalo Soldiers historian.

In any other place he would be honored and what is more respected - gifted with a Museum.

The Blacks in San Francisco and so disillusioned - walking like zombies - and the population has dwindled from once being 25% of the population to 2% and spiraling - down.

Let us not forget if it were not for the Buffalo Soldiers - the Pioneers would not have been able to contribute and build California - the 5th Largest economy in the world.

The signature of the Buffalo Soldiers is all over the 1480 acres at the San Francisco Presidio of San Francisco - there is not one street sign, not one building dedicated to the Buffalo Soldiers.

100 series building on the Main Post
the SF Presidio of San Francisco -
General Henry Wager Halleck (1815-1872)
An engineer who built the above
mentioned historic buildings - the Buffalo Soldiers
lived in these buildings - but no one want to give
them any credit - what so ever - not anymore.

The Buffalo Soldiers have left their mark all over California and beyond.

The all Black Buffalo Soldiers built a 1000 miles road from Canada to Alaska - all Black Engineer Group - they graded the Presidio of San Francisco. Built the 100 series building on the Main Post over 110 years old - mentioned above.

At Upper Fort Mason - in San Francisco - you go down the stairs - to get a nice great view of Alcatraz and the Bay - there is a cannon there and the place named " Black Point ".

In reality Buffalo Soldiers - embarked right at that spot to go to the Philippines and other places - why not name it after the Buffalo Soldiers and have a plague to honor the Buffalo Soldiers?

The same at the SF Presidio of San Francisco - the whites have been disrespectful and this " disrespect "  must be exposed for all the ignorance, more arrogance of the SF Presidio Trust and those who came before them - White and despicable - the wrong must be righted - and we are not going to be played.

Muwekma Ohlone Warrior -
the Muwekma Ohlone are the First People
of San Francisco and I represent them.

My good friend Danny Glover and
I - Francisco Da Costa -
this is a clarion call to all Black -
once the infantry went the rescue of others -
today the time has come for us to do the same.

I represent the Muwekma Ohlone - the First People of San Francisco - each and every square inch was stolen.

The Muwekma Ohlone hav not been honored - what does this say - about those who have jurisdiction over the SF Presidio and San Francisco in general?

In San Francisco the Mayor is Black, the Chief of Police is Black, the City Administrator is Black, there are other heads of Departments that are Black.

May  I remind them they are NOT educated on issues and ignorant - on cultural matters -  their vision is limited more tunnel vision.

Such a lack luster vision  does no one any good - stand up and represent.

Please do what is right - or forever hold your peace. Aho.
