The Air Quality Index (AQI) is registering very high numbers all over Northern California in some case over 260.
Right now it is about 210 in San Francisco - we have the fog and surrounded by water on three sides. The winds help us some - we still have to deal with the consequences. Foul air.
If we can help it - stay at home and wear a mask that can filter the Particulates - Particulate Matter 2.5 are very tiny and invisible to the eyes - these dangerous particulates can enter your lungs - and cause havoc.
We must protect our infants, our children, our youth, our young adults - for sure our beloved Elders - those with compromised health - more our physically and mentally challenged.
Climate Change is here to stay - and the wildfires - are raging - and what is compounding the state of affairs - the toxins - in the air - that rise up and stay up and then rain down - given certain conditions - rain, fog, wind, and what have you.
Carbon Monoxide, Lead, Mercury, Sulphur, particulate matter that I mentioned above, Ozone, many other contaminants that are used such as pesticides - each combine with the air and wind and send contaminants - hundreds of miles - away.

Our firefighter from here in California - from all over the United States - and even from overseas - they are all united on the frontlines - fighting the Wildfires - the biggest - Wildfires ever seen before - and over 3.5 million acres of forest land and more - have been torched and incinerated.
Those on the frontlines are reporting they have never, ever seen anything like this before.

I have friends who have lost everything - their homes, their farms, their heavy equipment, their animals cattle, goats, chickens - everything. Most even the long protected - heirlooms.
Some had time to take their essential belongings and flee - most had little time.
The fire took no time to reach the homes - spreading so rapidly - flames like torches - flying in the air - and before one knew it - hundreds of acres - torched and the rest is history.
As reported over 3.5 million acres torched - and in many places the raging fire - has not been fully contained - after weeks of burning - old growth forests and more.
It makes it harder for all to fight Wildfires - climbing up steep hills and also in the valleys - where the winds carry the Wildfires and incinerates anything and every thing in its path - in nano seconds.
