THE MEMORIAL ON THE SECOND DAY - WAS TOUCHING - LOTS OF LOVE - AS WE PREPARE FOR TODAY'S FUNERAL - JOSEPH TAEOTUI IS IN A BETTER PLACE.

Hundreds gathered to pay their respects -
Century did an excellent job
as the Master of Ceremonies - he is Joseph Taeotui Brother.

God is good - and when an incident - as what happened to Joseph Taeotui - ambushed - by a coward - right in front of his home - in broad daylight.

The culprit and the City and County of San Francisco - should know - justice must prevail. Even as every citizen has to be protected - and justice done - when a victim falls prey to death and killings - by the hand of those that roam our streets - and put innocent people in harms way.

As was clearly announced at yesterday's memorial - the Pastors should do what is best known to them.

The Matais (the Chiefs must step up and do what is best for the Polynesian community ).

Of course those in authority from the City and County of San Francisco - must step up and do what is best for the community - not forgetting the suffering family of Joseph Taeotui ( Jungle ) our Brother, our USO - Jungle has left a legacy.

Street Violence Intervention Program -
dedicated their time and love -
to do all that was possible to make this 3 day
memorial a blessed one - we thank each and everyone.

Street Violence Intervention Program (SVIP) and before that Community Response Network, and even before them RAP - have always dedicated their work - to bring an end to Violence, Killing, and related adverse impacts - and we San Franciscans thank them all for their work, love and sacrifice.

John Nauer addresses the community -
saying some choice words -
giving some insight about the situation at hand.

At times like we witnessed - hundreds and some times thousands gather - after the fact.

We reflect on our unity - our contribution to the City and County of San Francisco.

We reflect - how the Polynesian Community  - with whom I have interacted for over 40 years - first at the Presidio of San Francisco and later all over San Francisco - could better be served - a community that loves San Francisco and has contributed so much.

The City and County of San Francisco - must step up - and address building a Community Center - other more viable and sustainable ways - bring Career Jobs and better jobs to the Polynesian Community.  Addressing Quality of Life issues.

Joseph Taeotui - did his best to better his education - recently enrolling himself at City College - to better serve the community.

He gave his life - serving San Franciscans - all over this City - and we honor him for that service and love. We know he is in a better place - and we know we all will join him -  women and men of good faith and hope.

Street Violence Intervention Program -
has its work - cut out for them -
better training, better benefits -
they do what they do best - this incident showcases -
their dedication and commitment - they need our support.

Talk is cheap - action is what is needed to better our services to the community at large.

In the inner city - we have hundreds of youth - with NO father figure - mothers trying their best - to raise children - and our City and County of San Francisco - fumbling and dropping the ball - when it comes to giving opportunity and creating a friendly environment - more in areas known as Public Housing.

Our City leaders are fast asleep at the cockpit - we have seen too much violence and killings - enough is enough.

This incident opened our eyes - very little practical support from the City Leaders.

We respect the Crisis Response Team - they stepped up and did what they had to do - fighting the hurdles - the systemic procrastination - and more. We respect those at SF General Hospital who bent backwards to help us  -thank you.

God is good - our prayers and hard work behind the scene has made good things happen. Mollie will get what she desires - a home - in a " safe haven " this is our commitment.

Here we have two Brothers - to the left a Pastor -
to the right Century the Matai ( Chief) -
Joseph Taeotui was a Chief too - by his own right.

I witnessed the Pastor speak of the tradition values - and we all listened - to the many changes - and in the evolution of time - more here in the United States.

The Pastor spoke of - spiritual and other values - eroding - in today's times - the Pastor was direct - meant well.

We in humility have to listen to the man of God.

Even if we do not appreciate a few issues he addressed - directly to us in good faith.

We must be humble - listen and reflect and pray to God to enlighten our minds,  our heart, and our spirit. All in good time.

Century the Matai - was at the SF General Hospital every day.

I knew Jungle every well - and I am hurting - I got to know Century a great Chief, a man of immense patience, a good man - and a pride to our community.

Well done Century and God bless you my Uso.

Little Jodie, Mollie, and Joseph Taeotui -
a beautiful family -
God knows best - all we can do is support
Jodie and Mollie - and that is our commitment.

I want to thank each one of you - for your exemplary dedication - all of you who spread so much LOVE - there is nothing like LOVE - true LOVE conquers all - God Bless You All.

Today, we all we gather - and bid farewell - we are a better San Francisco and Joseph Taeotui - (Jungle ) is in a better place.

His dedication to San Francisco - was deep - he leaves a legacy, memories, and a good feeling that we can look forward to a bright future for our infants, children, youth, young adults, our Elders, those with compromised health, all those that cannot defend themselves.

We advocates have our work cut out for us - and this great City and County of San Francisco.

Thank you Street Violence Intervention Program - Arturo, John, James, Guy, Simi.

Elder, Pastor Branner, Cheeko, Rosa, Nana - you all know all of you that did so much.

You all exhibited the best we human exhibit - when it counts - giving credibility to the job you all do. God bless you all.

Thank you Big Shaun, Mollie for showing us all your love for Jungle and the community at large.

Century you know now - we will count on you - and you have an army - ready to do good. Love conquers all  and what a team you all have been.
