THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT HAS DECLARED - JUNETEENTH AS A FEDERAL HOLIDAY - WE NOW WANT TO VOTE FREELY WITHOUT IMPEDIMENTS - HONOR THE 15TH AMENDMENT - WALK THE WALK.

Emancipation of Blacks - Juneteenth, a Federal Holiday.

When President Abraham Lincoln decided to " free the slaves " - it was not without Blacks then known better as Negros - proving they could be counted upon - fighting in the Civil War - and dying for what they then believed to be - right.

To this day, the 15th Amendment - the Right to Vote - has been denied to Blacks - all sorts of hurdles put in the way - and when it comes to opportunities - to uplift the Black population and people of color - there is much to the done.

Juneteenth is a Federal Holiday - it should be a day of recollection - a deep study of the Right to Vote - the deep study of " implicit bias" - the deep study of blatant discrimination.

Frederick Douglass (1818-1895)

Had it not been for Frederick Douglass, much of what we are talking about today - the role of Blacks in the Civil War, the Emancipation of Slaves, the mule and 40 acres of land, the very right to vote for all - would be naught.

Perhaps the only leader that could articulate with passion and full comprehension was John Lewis - who has passed away - and left a legacy.

Again few have read the Constitution to understand well the difference between Freedom and License. Abuse of Freedom is License.

It may sound odd - today, we do not have one Black Leader - worth the salt.

To understand the Right to Vote, the Right to own land, the Right to Free Speech,  the Right to speak one's mind - is deep - and today our Black leaders - talk the talk but do not walk the walk - and that includes Vice-President Kamala Harris.

All over this nation today - people will be marching and protesting - demanding that they be allowed to exercise their Freedom - there is Freedom, and there is License - abuse of Freedom is License.

Each of us must ask ourselves our deep do we know about our Constitution - the Supreme Court - our Rights as Citizens to do right.

How many of us understand - what the Founding Fathers had in mind. How many of us have read the Treaty that kept in place Slavery - and the right not to amend the Treaty - for the longest time ever.

Declaration of Independence - Founding Fathers.

The many treaties that allowed SLAVERY to continue by Slave Masters, Institutions, Insurance Companies - language incorporated in the Constitution:

Do Blacks truly understand unity?

If so, why do we have several celebrations - each with its own " taint " - bragging about Juneteenth in San Francisco - when Blacks are hardly two percent of the population?

Why the public discord between Shamann Walton, the President of the Board of Supervisors, and Mayor London Breed and her ever-changing Mayoral Staff?

Over $30 million controlled by Sheryl Evan Davis, Shakirah Simley, London Breed, other dubious characters all Blacks - who is fooling whom?

Over $300 million wasted - Community Benefits linked to the Sewer System Improvement Project (SSIP) - meant to help those that most needed help.

Why is there a dark cloud of corruption Blacks the likes of Juliet Ellis, Harlan Kelly, Naomi Kelly, Dwayne Jones, Malia Cohen, Shamann Walton, DionJay Brookter, Oscar James, Elouise Patton
others too many to name - one worse than the other -  Blacks - caught in a web of blatant - corruption - of the worse kind in the history of San Francisco?

Today in the year 2021, we have not studied the Constitution - do not comprehend Law and Oder,  do not comprehend how to respect our Elders - from every community - in large measure, we are parochial.

Defy quality of life issues - again and again - we see who are the ones breaking into stores and stealing goods.

Again and again - we see who are the ones preying on the Elders.

Again and again - the increase of Blacks incarcerated -  in San Francisco - is astounding and confounding - too many Blacks - seeking help and getting nothing at all.

This photograph says it all - Juneteenth is about action -
actions leading in the right direction -
the Right to Vote without any impediments -
equal rights for all as human beings - more walk and less talk.
