Labor Unions at one time - were respected - and fought tooth and nail to bring justice and fair play - in the workplace.
Today many UNIONS are faltering - failing to stand by those that have been paying their dues. Pandering to Management - and this and more - is despicable.
Hard working folks getting - little in return - now to top it all - many feel deeply - they will lose their pension - that they diligently paid into. This stabbing in the back must STOP - now.
Contemporary slave plantations - those working day and night - two and three jobs - more and more - is becoming the norm.
Who will fight for fair play - who will bring some semblance to the situation at hand? Where is the empathy and compassion? God sees it all.
What is happening to the United States - and why are UNION members treated with disdain? We will keep asking this question - until we get an answer.

Labor Union workers are getting less - working harder - and are often let go at very - short notice.
Again and again labor protests are held - the longer the protest - the longer the strike.
The greater the hardship endured by the striking members and their families - which knows no bounds. Again and again when one walks the line - when one listens - more past the three and fourth month - of the strike.
We all realize - who really can play one against the other - who must suffer - even though those that are not Management - make all the money for those on top.
In San Francisco the Merriot Hotel strike comes to mind - and Nationwide those striking - against some one of a kind car companies - who rake in billions - and cannot pay their hardworking workers - a decent wage - and more health benefits.

In all the vain talk about impeachment - many so called citizens do not understand the process - fewer have read the Constitution of the United States of America.
Many - have not read the Bill of Rights - even less care to speak up - on the local level - even less on the State level - and lesser still on the National level - on issues of importance.

I have always been associated with the UNION - and even today - try my best to help my Sisters and Brothers in the UNION - in many ways - addressing grievances and addressing pertinent and critical - issues.
The local UNION leaders have compromised - and once you compromise - you let down the UNION and its members.
Today one tenth of one percent of our population nationwide - which some 320 million - control ninety nine percent of the wealth.
Large corporations play the UNIONS - and what is less have created the "GIG" system - to exploit innocent, decent workers - and think nothing much of these sordid and evil acts.
The GIG model - is cruel - where to survive - folks work two and three jobs - at minimum wage and less.
With NO benefits - taking away the rights of the UNIONS - and the millions of once UNION workers - reduced by over seventy percent/
Many have been watching this NONSENSE - more, our politicians in California. Most kicking the can down the street.
Truckers - irrespective of the fact that they own their trucks - get no benefits, have to work long hours for a corporation that rakes in millions of dollars in profit.
Pay for the fuel, the repairs, replacement of tires and more - the tolls, and a host of other things.
The Truckers - are are NOT compensated at all - by the Corporations - they work for the Corporation as Independent Workers.
Once " stripers" were given the title - " Independent Workers ".
The strippers paid taxes on their earning - no health benefits, and no other benefits at all.
Today - most small industries and the workers that work for these small industries - are called openly and with no hestitation " Independent Workers " this is a crying shame.

All this in the United States of America - one would think we treated our workers as human beings - and not like chattel.
The Truckers cannot leave - because the Corporations buy the politicians out, the legislators, even the Governor of California - Gavin Newsom - who has a very bad record - working with workers across the board.
Gavin Newsom knows the trials and tribulations of the Truckers - he knows what to do - however, he will follow the dictates that fill he campaign coffers. He has always been like that - a lackey - a lap dog.

Hopefully they thought by working hard - they would pay the loans back - and keep something for themselves.
The medallions today have no value.
The Taxi drivers still have to pay their loans - and many cannot.
The Taxi drivers - the majority immigrants - have resorted to suicide - and many have serious health issues.
The SF City and County taking NO responsibility - yet talking from both sides of their filthy - mouth - the majority of the SF Board of Supervisors - the Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) - other City Agencies in cahoots - doing what they do best - hoodwink in broad daylight.
The Taxi Drivers' industry in San Francisco - has been decimated.
The may families put in harms way - and it does not bother the SF Board of Supervisors - the Mayor of San Francisco London Breed and her minions - to look the other way.
But for how long?
There is Karma and it is looks the crooked politician in the eye.
Never mind the Taxi Drivers come and plead for help - Room 200 at SF City Hall - it has been more than 7 years - and nothing is happening.
The Taxi Drivers come in the hope that someone will listen to their pleas and do something about the situation at hand. Nothing is happening - it is nauseating to hear the pleas of the Taxi Drivers - a situation never, ever seen in San Francisco - before.
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors - hear the pleas - and look at the many Taxi Drivers - plead, cry, weep - they are bleeding, totally stressed out and many have died.
Others come limping - victims of a stoke, paralysis, heart attack - and more - and the politicians who warm the chair they sit on - in Room 250 at City Hall - seem immune to the trials and tribulations of the Taxi Drivers and more. Hearts of stone.
San Francisco is a UNION city and UNION workers from the Longshoremen to UNIONS in the many other fields be it Transportation, Engineering, Iron Workers, Teamsters, Electricians.
Carpenters, Laborers, Mechanics - I can name them all - most of the UNIONS have fallen prey to the Corporations.
The many fake legislation and laws - politicians bought - do not favor the UNIONS - Amazon, Walmart, Google, FaceBook, others.
The hardworking UNION members - women and men - who are now facing very hard times - stressed out - and offered poor health services.
Few remember Bloody Thursday - where the authorities fired on the Longshoremen and killed some - by the Embarcadero.
Yet after all these years we have NOT only forgotten - but turned our back on the martyrs.
We do not know our history - more those young politicians - who are not only ignorant but very arrogant.
It is time that all so called "GIG" jobs - be it home care givers, technicians linked to the computer industry and cyberspace, those in the communication industry, taxi drivers, truckers who haul materials to far off places.
Small business that employ other employees the backbone of our economic, those in the hospitality industry, those in the entertainment industry.
Those those in para-legal business and other such industries - the thousands of Federal and State workers - used to be more - now consolidated and less.
All of them should be listened to - taken care of - others who do not belong to a UNION - be permitted to UNIONIZE - more, if forty percent of those workers - at the job place - sign to UNIONIZE.
This notion that Corporations are People too - has to be defined - and even though the Supreme Court - passed this judgement - it can be challenged - and must be challenged.
Most of the politicians on the local level - here in San Francisco - have NO clue - about the dire hardship of so many - UNION members - many of them - are now living in tents - on the dirty, filthy streets of San Francisco.

London Breed for all the on going stupidity - still thinks - she is in the hood - where having a " thug " mentality helps one to survive in the hood .
It is quite another thing to live and contribute the best to a decent neighborhood.

San Franciscans always prided themselves and held career jobs in large measure. We have a highly educated citizens - who can see through and through - the many crooks - leading that charge Mayor London Breed. Taking junkets, going on shopping sprees, making over $366, 000 and not worth the salt.
This "GIG" industry - Lift, Uber, Side-Car - others making hay while the sunshine - Uber backed by Mayor Edwin Mah Lee - the Mayors that came after the demise of Mayor Edwin Mah Lee - are worse.
The - worst Mayor London Breed - inept, shallow, weak in knees - she is busy cutting ribbons at openings - parks, some so called affordable housing - years ago in the pipeline, taking credit for past planing - screwing things up on all fronts - smiling like a jackass.
The woman has NO class - and is an abject disgrace to the human race.

We have over 15,000 homeless in San Francisco - we have a population of 840,000 and growing.
We have over 35,000 homes vacant - closed to all - the homeowners do not want to rent.
The homeowners fear renters who will damage their property - and cost the home owner thousands in court fees.
We have over 60,000 market rate units mostly condominium vacant.
Mayor London Breed - knows about this but can do nothing about it - her campaign coffers - are filled by the Developers and others like them - vermin who prey on the poor.
In the year 2019 - San Francisco still continue to flush our thousands of toilets - millions of gallons a month - with clean drinking water.
No one - not one politician worth the salt - has a plan - to address this important factor - linked to our Environment, Quality of Life issue, common sense - which is a rare sense - for one simple reason - they do not want to bite the hand that feeds them - the GREEDY mongers.
The State of California has mandates - on clean drinking water - the SF Planning Department, the SF Public Utilities Commission - the Mayor London Breed knows about this - but she also knows that Harlan Kelly, Naomi Kelly, other sordid crooks - have been backing her up - hiding the facts.
More supplying money to fill the Mayor's campaign coffers - with tax payers money - more Community Benefits - the conduits Dwayne Jones and Juliet Ellis - who must be taken to court - and jailed for a long, long time.
For all the talk about our Carbon Footprint - our congestions on the streets, our poor landfills spews thousands of tons of Methane Gas - MH4 - one ton of Methane Gas equals twenty two tons of Carbon Dioxide.

In reality we have over one and half million tons of Methane Gas spewing from 4th and King to Geneva Avenue - Mid Way Public Housing.

We advocates who do the heavy lifting have the empirical data - and can and will give a clearer picture about how many treat Mother Earth - talk is cheap - action counts.

Youth who need help and help to clean our SF City and County are given stipends.
While some Non-Profits who receive grants and funds - most linked to tax payers money - and laughing all the way to the bank. Time will tell.
We just cannot talk about jobs - and not ponder to think how anyone can live in this City and County of San Francisco - paying $3500 a month for a one bed room and $5800 for a two bed room.
Pay in access of $27,000 a year for health - and get poor health services.
Pay more for food, clothing, transportation, education, rent and survive.
More and more decent human beings are living San Francisco - the Democratic Party - more are steeped with " dark money " - Community Benefits in the millions - doled out to strangers - while local advocates and business - have to wait for years to get permits to open a business.
More and more UNIONS are dying - and those UNIONS trying to survive are quick to mandate dues to be paid - and less service provided - more full time employment.
The SF City and County of San Francisco have over 33,000 employees - many temporary - and more Blacks are targeted and discriminated.
It does not help the SF Board of Supervisors - cannot do much - accept look the other way - kick the can down the street.
