Recently there was a Congressional Hearing - Congress person - very irate at the U. S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the U.S. Attorney General, like minded Enforcement Agency - for doing a poor job.
As many as 70,000 are now dying of Opioids drug over doze - each year.
It is totally exacerbating to find small towns - loaded with too many Opioids.
Anyone that is willing to pay - more addicts with some money - use Opioids and many die of over dozing.
Big town too - but smaller towns seem to have started a pandemic that is today growing bigger and bigger.
One Congressman put it bluntly - three factors contribute to the Opioids increase - China who is the main culprit, then Mexico and their cartels - flooding the market - many a times with contaminated Opioids, and finally Congress for not doing their job.

We see this in every day life - Fedex, UPS, Amazon - using real time tracking.
Amazon has a platform - costing millions - and others are now using it - using algorithms, sophisticated hardware and software - to speed delivery, find out what people like - and deliver them in record time.
We all know this - but our Federal Government - antiquated - that was compromised - the Office of Personal Management - is one case. Even our Internal Revenue Service - and at time Pentagon.
Our Nation has the latest technology - but has refused to invested in Quality of Life issues - one of them starring at our face daily - the distribution of Opioids - in the millions - and the creation and pandemic - of addict using Opioids - dying.
These addicts are middle class - and many filthy rich too - popping pain killers - to easy some pain that they are addicted to.
Committing crimes - that they would have - but do daily to feed their evil habits - popping pills that give them some temporary - high.
Right now we have the technology - to tally deliveries, the types of material, packages, other important empirical data - using algorithms.
We have the ability to break it down.
We can and must track down - to pin point the source of deliveries and types of drugs and other drug paraphernalia delivered.
While private business are far ahead in this game - Fedex, the U.S. Postal Service, Amazon - other companies that distribute packages and mail - are mandated - to produced manifest and they do - and can daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly - we saw a huge reduction in the distribution of drugs such as Opioids and other harmful drugs.
In reality the powered content is shipped to Mexico - where they have the required machines to create and pack pills - not only Opioids but other pills - that so many Americans and others are addict to and is hurting our Nation.
Congress has been so slow to enforce - Pharmacies and others who distribute to report what I have stated above. Some one is helping the crooks who make millions - if not billions - kick the can down the street.
In small towns - again and again - we get reports - that for every person living in town - say a population of 100,000 - each person who is an addict can be prescribed an inordinate amount of Opioids - as much as 1000 Opioid pills - for 6 months.
Now this is ridiculous - if doctor prescribes such a amount of pills - some doctors - with intent creating this addicts - and must be held responsible.
One Congressman had three grown up children - all three athletes - and all three had injuries need operations - and were prescribe an inordinate number of Opioids - for 3 months.
Lucky for the 3 athletes - their parents - did not permit them to take these pain killer - and resorted to other medications and remedies - that do not created addiction.
Paradoxically - the Congressman has a serious injury - underwent an operation - and guess what - he was prescribed an inordinate amount of Opioids.
The Congressperson - did NOT take his prescription to be filled - and his testimony - as well as that of so many others.
Most people listening to the Congressional Hearing on the sale, dumping, and abuse of Opioids prescriptions - under some pretext that it is a pain killer that they want - leading to chronic addiction - irate Congressperson are now ready to take drastic actions - and rightly so.
Some of us advocates have seen this pandemic first hand - years ago heroin, then meth, and now this growing addiction - in many cases leading to instant death.
Added Fentanyl that is 80-100 times more potent than Morphine - and some of us after an operation have been administered morphine - and have experienced horrific dreams and other types of hallucination.
In recent years it has become fashionable for doctors to prescribe Opioids - and then admit they over prescribe - but do not take responsibility.
The many addicts increasing daily - the many addicts dying - adversely impacted linked to Opioids and other like pills and drugs and more addiction.
This drowning pandemic is something that has adversely impacted so many families - destroying peace of mind - and cause horrific - trials and tribulations.

Not to long ago - I attended a meeting at SF City Hall - and was the only one - who gave a different perspective on the serious addiction to Opioids and other such pills - the current pandemic reigning supreme all over our Nation - compromising Quality of Life.
Taking our our great City and County of San Francisco - down the drain - into a " cesspool " of our own creation.
We see this pandemic linked to drugs - all over the City and County of San Francisco .
Hundreds come from Oakland and elsewhere - daily to sell drugs - barter the addicts selling what they have stolen for drugs - our Mayor London Breed barking up the wrong tree - each and every day.
She favor Navigation Center - where animals live with humans - and the sanitary conditions - do not meet standards - much like the many Notice of Violations given our SF General Hospital - and this and more - must not be made light of.
Many cities in the United States - give addicts rent money for a year - and some more - to leave their cities - and go elsewhere.
Many choose to come to San Francisco - because of the climate - is moderate and the service available to suit their sordid needs.
Non -profits like Glide Memorial, Saint Anthony's, Martin de Pores, Salvation Army, Health Right360, and there are many more - using millions of dollars - some of it grant money - to help the addicts.
The problem is overwhelming - and daily we see too many addicts - shooting in front of children, decent citizens, and what is sad to report.
The addicts roam like zombies in San Francisco - seriously impacting our tourism - and many who use to come - have told me personally - downtown San Francisco is not safe - nor is MUNI.
One has to be constantly on the watch - and I know this and more from experience.
Other addicts stink like excreta.
Their pores release the toxins - and when one come into the MUNI bus - people are forced to get off the bus - and some vomit - creating a nauseating.
The Opioids addiction, the Meth Addition, the influx of contaminated Fentanyl and other such substances - are money making opportunities for the Mexican cartels and other nefarious entities. They have BLOOD on their hands.
China with its tentacles all over the place with the drugs and those they want to be addicted - to carry on their illegal and illicit trade of sorts.
For all our talk - we cannot do much - China provides the Cartels with the ingredients, the machinery to make the pills - and share the profits - it is really a State run business - while some in the White House - brings traffic restrictions - that we tax payers pay.
Other than that what I have said above is - hog wash.

The Democrats have been pandering to the Insurance Companies - taking vast amounts of money - to fill their campaign coffers.
Tell the tax payers one thing and do another.
