San Francisco General Hospital -
very concerned with the present peak -
Covid -19 cases and hospital beds.
There have been a couple of so called " virtual meetings " - discussing how the San Francisco Health Department and leading the charge Dr Grant Colfax - purports to address our needs - in San Francisco. So far his leadership - has been pathetic.
Hospital beds, Covid-19 testing, increase in homelessness, Personal Protective Equipment, Essential workers and employment - and a gamut of other issues - all talk and no walk at all. No sound leadership in sight.
To me things worse at the virtual meetings - Mayor London Breed - makes statements that have NO validity - general statements that cannot be validated - more in a pandemic - cannot be tolerated and London Breed must step down and fade away.
She already has the Feds investigating here - she has never been know to do her homework - she loves to bark up the wrong tree.
Here days are numbered - she could have acted well -but she chose to talk more - open that big mouth - and spew diatribe of the worst -order.
We the people are not ignorant and for sure we are not arrogant.
The time has come to take this matter to the highest level - "Crimes against Humanity " - laid down by the rules and regulation linked to the United Nation that was formed in San Francisco - the first Charter Signed at the SF War Memorial.
I can tell you - all those reading this blog - right off the bat.
Most of those talking - calling themselves experts - cannot do a well defined, well researched, detailed vetted - "needs assessment ".
They can talk all they want - but truly speaking there is NO - walk.
One way these arrogant - " SF Health Department Experts " address the situation at hand - is have long presentations.
They create a lot of confusion - make convoluted statements.
The fine print linked to the presentation cannot be read.
The presenters themselves have problems - with the presentation - and in all this confusion - the public comment is a measly two minutes - so who cares? Who really cares ? The are testing our patience.
This coming year's projected budget by the SF Health Department is about $2.7 billion.
The next year $2.5 Billion.
The year after that $2.4 Billion.
The SF Health Commission had a long budget presentation - you could have gone to sleep and got up - only to find out the presentation was going on and on. This was Agenda Number 6.
The facilitator did mention it was time for Public Comment - and hardly had he said Public Comment - one of the Commissioners who had all the time to talk - said he had something to say.
The Commissioner wanted to know how some new software was faring - the question and answer to this issue - went on for sometime. Until the Commissioner realized what he was doing. He decided to take the topic off line.
In the midst of all this confusion - the facilitator called for the next item - and Public Comment was denied - to the Public at Large - technically making that Agenda Item - #6 on the entire Budget linked to the SF Health Department - illegal.
Item 7 was called and just to validate that I was present at the virtual meeting - I spoke on item #7 -
When it comes to mental health and the homeless situation - the present pandemonium linked to the SF Health Department and some contracts.
I mentioned the Shanti Program - monitoring the SF Health System for over 40 years. The plight of the poor dying more those living in tents - the rising pandemic Covid-10 cases - and how this City and County of San Francisco should be charged - " Crimes against Humanity ".
Daily too many are dying - most of those dying - go to the hospital and in two or three days - they are dead.
We are find our that even though those is power are talking about the on going peaks - the data collected does not reflect the true numbers. Experts have come out and spoken on Television - they say this problem may have been going on for some time now. It is a soft wear problem.
Much like the Employment Development Department ( EDD ) - problem with the on going Unemployment fiasco - using an antiquated soft ware COBAL - 45 years old if not more.
Not saying that this 40 year old soft ware program is not used.
It the last 40 years - computer software has removed - but again and
again - we find lack of vision - folks stick to the basic - Smithsonian.
We have faster and more efficient soft ware program now.
This is California. I was told recently - after the pandemic - over a quarter million was spent - to fix the on going COBAL fiasco - linked to unemployment payments. The COBAL software is a hinderance - ever mind millions are impacted. Some have not received their payment - in months - as much as 18 months in some - cases.
The SF Health Department and the SF General Hospital - has been working trying to transfer - data from one soft ware system to another - it is on going. We have yet to have a public discussion or deliberation - that was what one of the older Commissioners wanted to discuss - when time was called for Public Comment - Agenda #6.
The raging pandemic - has caught the so called experts off guard.
We do not have an Emergency Management Commander - were proven experience - some one that can do a " stellar and astute needs assessment on a War Footing ".
We have too many Billionaires in San Francisco.
We have too many so called experts who are payed on an average
$300,000 - some $400,000 not worth the salt.
No one can put a price on life in San Francisco - the home of the United Nations. I represent the First People of San Francisco - the Muwekma Ohlone.
We must NOT permit - arrogant people to do as they please - while thousands who can be saved - die.
Every single week for the last one month - the deaths and those tested positive - in San Francisco has peaked.
Too many people are dying - and those who are in charge have lost their soul. Hence the clarion call to take this matter - to another level - the International Level .
Charge Mayor London Breed and her lackeys - " Crimes Against Humanity ".
All those arrogant idiots are doing - are kicking the can down the street.
When it comes to testing - they keep saying they do not have the chemicals to to do testing quickly.
Well, we have known this for over 5 months.
We cannot be giving this excuse - when we have more than 10 leading laboratories in the Bay Area that can address this situation.
But where is the leadership?
We know that the Center of Diseases Control and Prevention - failed us the first time around - way back in December, 2019.
We are now in July, 2020 and we still are kicking the can down the street. Nonchalant - typical of those weak in the knees and lacking sound leadership and vision.
San Francisco does not have a person to fill as head of Behavioral Science Department - everyone is talking - but there is NO one person to give clear direction and more have a vision.
Can the City and County of San Francisco name the lead Toxicologist who works for the City and County of San Francisco - as opposed to the one who works for the U.C. San Francisco?
Initially the early months from January. 2020 to March 2020 - the people - the decent, well educated, well behaved San Franciscans - did what they do best - they stayed at home.
San Franciscans - maintained a high level of hygiene, exercised, took care of their nutrition, prayed and did what any decent citizen does - to take care of their own health.
All Mayor London Breed did - was bark up the wrong tree - and take credit for the hard work of the majority of San Franciscans.
Then we hard some knuckle heads - defy the Mayor and congregate - we know the parks and the locations.
We also know more - lifestyle, getting high - the ones who live for the second and give a damn about respect the health and welfare of others -
The harm was done - counter point - to the good done by the majority. Time will tell.
The Mayor London Breed is not respected by the majority of San Franciscans - and so is Dr Grant Colfax.
And so is Mary Ellen Carroll the so called Director of Emergency Management - who is NOT qualified to handle a pandemic.
To hell with what they do - under the guise of the so called Emergency Hub to address the pandemic - located - at Moscone East Center - no stellar goals, less timelines - too much talk and less walk.
Right now no one has faith in Harlan Kelly, Naomi Kelly, Mary Ellen Carroll, Mayor London Breed, Sheryl Evans Davis, Shamann Walton, Shakirah Simley, the SF Supervisors who cannot focus on their own job - but dared to spend some time at the Emergency Center - Moscone East - they know who they are.
We need some one who has the needed and proven experience - Emergency Management Commander - I say Commander - that is the Standard.
The Federal Management Emergency Agency (FEMA) has been used - like a dirty rag - to pay bills - the millions wasted by the City and County of San Francisco.
When FEMA advices the City and County of San Francisco - they arrogant ones - think they know better - this all will STOP with an audit - when millions will have to be paid back.
In a few weeks - the deaths will rise - than for sure we will know who should be charged for " Crimes against Humanity ".
The United Nations and other world bodies - have laid it clearly and in detail Crime Against Humanity - the higher standard.
The laws that must not be taken for granted - more when we brag we are a World Class City - and do not adhere to standard Quality of Life Issues.
Those most vulnerable need help - we must help those who need help - we must help our Elders - our Elders are slowly dying on the streets and in places that they ought not to be - slowly dying.
The homeless and those living in tents - facing daily - inclement weather - slow dying does not seem to faze those who run their mouths - wag the tongue that has no bone - for hours on end.
The virtual meetings are drab and boring - we have to listen to the deliberation - most of it chaff - and then after hours - we get two minutes to speak at Public Comment.
The arrogant do as they please - the time has come to gather the empirical data - do the " needs assessment ".
Charge charge these folks - who have NO experience, are amoral - and what is important to note - have NO empathy and less compassion.
For those of you reading - now is you time - to participate and make known - what really is happening at ground zero. As a citizen you have a right to act - exercise your rights - do not leave it to others - to do the heavy lifting - all the time.
I said it months ago - thousands will fall prey to the Novel Covid-10 virus - our hospital beds will be full.
This game of moving folks to hospital beds at the Presidio of San Francisco - and other mickey mouse games - these will not fly for long.
Mayor London Breed her lackeys and Dr Grant Colfax have failed - miserably.
No sound leadership and for sure no Vision.
What is important to note - NO empathy and absolutely No compassion.
