Here is San Francisco we have witnessed our politicians trying to win brownie points - saying and making statements that make NO sense.
The astute and stellar constituents of San Francisco - early on - took upon themselves to stay at home - wear a mask when they went out. They looked out for each other.
Many volunteered early on to call those that most needed help and took care of essential business. All the while the SF City Officials - were kicking the can down the street - blaming everyone but themselves.
The citizens of San Francisco - continued to maintain higher standards of hygiene.
Did their best when it came to nutrition, exercise, maintained some semblance given the on going pandemic.
They wished all well - uplifted most - offered prayers - many continued to meditate - their heart in the right place.
The astute and stellar citizens of this Great City San Francisco - the land of the Muwekma Ohlone - did and offered anything that could help the situation at hand.
We are grateful of those that naturally step to the plate and do what is necessary to make good stuff happen.
As leaders and advocates - we do not need anyone to tell us - to be positive. This comes naturally - what good leaders do is speak Truth of Power.
The on going corruption - leading the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Attorney General David Anderson - to intervene and serve subpoenas - is something that has perturbed many - and corruption and evil actions is what deters most - more decent, hard working, sincere, loving San Franciscans.
All the time since January, 2020 the San Francisco leadership have been sending mixed signals.
More with half-baked plans when it comes to our Elders, our infants, children, youth, young adults - those with compromised health - more our mentally and physically challenged.
The many drab virtual meetings do not help - I monitor them closely - because if others and I do not - this City and County of San Francisco will go to the hogs - it has in large measure.
I said this a long time ago - our children and youth - are prone to getting Novel Covid-19.
Not only children and youth who have some sort of underlaying ailments - but all children and youth - who are exposed to anyone carrying the virus.
More those who are " asymptomatic " - when " asymptomatic individuals " come in close proximity to those who are vulnerable - all hell breaks loose.
Hence we need the needed and vetted testing - to keep those that cause the most harm " asymptomatic individuals at bay.
The more those asymptomatic continue to move around in public - the more the virus is spread. There is only one remedy today - get tested and if need to be quarantined - PLEASE stay at home.
In San Francisco an inordinate number of constituents live in a one and two bed room - they number 10 to 15 persons.
This type of congregate living - is linked to the very high rents - and those making minimum wages - holding two and three jobs - always tired - their health compromised - and so is their immune system.
The City and County of San Francisco has NOT done a " needs assessment " to come to the immediate rescue of those - who can be saved.
With intent the authorities know what they have to do - with intent they permit the chronic situation to go on - leading thousands to slowly die.
Some one must speak for those who cannot defend themselves. It is a pity and a crying shame - those who do not suffer - get most everything on a platter - dare to challenge the advocates who speak Truth to Power.
Had we not spoken before - those corrupt now rounded up Juliet Ellis, Harlan Kelly, other too many to mention - the utter nonsense that was tolerate - the SF Controller Office kicking the can down the street, the SF City Attorney picking the cases he wanted to deal with - the recently appointed District Attorney - nonchalant.
The Sunshine Task Force impotent, the SF Ethics Commission - dysfunctional - for all practical purposes the SF Board of Supervisors - the Legislative Body - loves to talk in circles.
Wasting our time - with virtual meetings - that are NOT productive - after hours of senseless deliberation - we the people are given a measly two minutes to speak.
We can afford giving thousands an opportunity to live - taking them away from congregate living - and giving them a safe heaven - clean hotel rooms with wrap around services.
Those " asymptomatic " can be tested - put on some holistic regiment - their health restored - and all this and more - is God's work.
This is San Francisco - where the United Nations Charter was signed - after World War II - at the San Francisco - War Memorial.
Plans were afoot to headquarter the United Nations at the Presidio of San Francisco - the filthy rich in New York - took it upon themselves - having clout - to move United Nation to New York.
This pandemic with all its unique mutations is convoluted - and as much as scientists are trying to figure out - how best to have a working vaccine - it will take 18 months to 2 years from now - to have something well tested - worth the salt.
I have been fascinated by Dr Jonas Edward Salk who first came with the FLU vaccine. Few know about this fact - he saved millions of lives - not only here in the United States, Europe but all over the world.
Then came polio - and there again - Dr Jonas Edward Salk - was on the frontlines - creating a " polio vaccine ".
I studied vaccines and pandemics and related issues - since I was young.
I did this because I had polio when I was two years old - and over came it. I wanted to know more - and hence read all I could on Dr Jonas Edward Salk and all the relevant and pertinent material.
Dr Salk created the vaccines because Dr Salk genuinely loved human beings and life.
Once asked why did Dr Jonas Edward Salk did not have his vaccines registered or copy righted - so he could make money - he resorted and asked the questioner - what if everyone was charged to benefit from the sunshine - we all enjoy.
Suggesting his God given talents - were for the benefit of all.
The more you look at the creation of a vaccine today - the more you smell GREED - the main goal is not so much to save lives but to make money.
This money mongering must STOP - and most of us - are so caught up with the daily mundane stuff we do - few dare challenge the mundane - reflecting on the on going suffering, the dying and burying - the loss of life - thousands - the United States having the highest death toll - linked to the Novel Covid-19 virus.
There is FREEDOM and there is LICENSE.
Abuse of FREEDOM is LICENSE.
Never permit anyone to shove something down your throat - as most permit themselves to be brainwashed.
Educate yourself with facts and empirical data.
Surround yourselves with people that matter - whose heart is in the right place.
We cannot go with the flow - we must question those standards, norms, laws, anything that does not adhere to a higher standard.
Every human being is free - to enjoy her or his freedom.
There is freedom and there is license. Abuse of Freedom is License.
Even as many go to hospitals - the hospitals where there are peak cases - in hot spots.
Those in charge at the hospitals - now are telling many who have come to the hospital doors - to go home because they have NO hospital beds. We are a Super Power - or so they say?
This has NOT happened in San Francisco - but it could happen - and there is no nonchalant manner to explain this to the general public.
On another note over 114 countries - will not permit Americans from visiting their country.
If they do - they will test the visitors - and if they find them testing positive - they will have to adhere to the laws of the land.
Here is San Francisco - many have been tested.
Some have been tested and the first test was negative - then they had another test - and few weeks - because of symptoms - and were positive.
This testing at this time - more the fast pace - or quick testing - is looked upon - as suspicious. Time will tell.
The poor people cannot afford the more sophisticated testing- they wait in line - in some cases for hours - get tested and then have to wait weeks for the results.
Right now we do not have the chemicals - an important - element in the testing.
Hence the backlog - and many of us are so used to the " fast food line and getting things fast " - that any type of delay linked to any type of service we desire - is a must - if not we complain.
If there is a delay in the service we desire - we get frustrated and get hostile - shout and scream and I have seen it first hand.
Again and again we hear the experts tell us - wear the mask.
Not - so much for our own protection but more for that of our our neighbor.
We must get used to "Team Work " - and less to be like - the man in the White House - egotistical maniac.
Why would not some - sensible - just wear a mask.
It is horrific to see some argue that they will NOT wear a mask - and yet want to be served - where a notice is posted to wear a mask.
The police and other authorities called to the scene are horrified by such behavior - that now - if you do not wear a mask - one is fined - as much at $500 or more in some places.
Finally at first the scientists arrived using a model - with data available - that in many cities - at least 25% of the population was asymptomatic but now it has been up to 40%. Go figure!
Life is precious and we must change our ways drastically for good.
