Every parent has a right to discipline a child - and a good parent will discipline a child - more - because she or he loves the child.
Unfortunately in today's world more here in our world - where parents have to work two and three jobs - a new anxiety - a viral disease - is spreading - it is being called and best described as - " Toxic Stress".
It does not help to know that over 40% of the families in San Francisco are dysfunctional - more those that have single parents - many mothers who cannot work - have three, four, five and even more children to take care off - and this and more - does not help.
Here is California we have a Black doctor - who worked in the Bayview Hunters Point - who is making her rounds - talking about " Toxic Stress" - in fact she is some czar - appointed and paid to address this disease - by Gavin Newsom who happens to the Governor of California - once the Mayor of San Francisco.
Anyone can describe a disease - or some calamity as I am doing - what we want to see is action - what are we doing about it?
Again and again Child Protect Services - which is out dated having no trained Social Workers, more qualified Psychologist, even less Psychiatrist.
San Francisco CPS is pathetic - and even worse the SF Police Department - kicking the can down the street - when it come to cases pertaining to Children and Youth - novice SF Police Officer playing God - using antiquated method to charge - innocent parents.
What is taking place daily and many times over - the SF Police Department and in other areas - those area Police Department and Officers - called in to address issues related to children - have no clue and less qualification to discern.
These SF Police Officers - without having the means and qualification to discern, less comprehend and understand the situation at hand - seek recourse to penal codes - that are old and mundane.
More - as each case is different - these novice Police Officers - use primitive tools - to charge - the parent and in some cases parents.
Arrest the parents or parent - with some outdated penal codes - all this and more must be adjudicated - light shed where there is abject darkness.
Only a qualified and accredit Psychologist, Psychiatrist, an accredited Social Worker with a Bachelor or Masters degree - can adjudicate.
Law Enforcement has not taken the time to transform - it is stuck in the much - more drowning in the " cesspool" of its own creation.
One parent was in the shopping mall - and his daughter managed to take off - after leaving his sight for a few seconds.
One thing led to another - the child went to a store - the store called the police. The police took charge of the child and did not bother to take any steps to find the father.
The father in panic instead of staying on the same floor - after looking around - took the escalator down one floor - proceeded to go to another floor - and before he knew what he was doing - he was exhausted and lost.
He then called the Police - the Police told him that they had the child.
One thing led to another and the man a Black man - was sent to jail. The Child Protective Services - blaming him for negligence.
His friends had to bail him - after spending five days in jail - charged with " child endangerment " - the single father was traumatized and so was the child.
While we humans think that building skyscrapers, and towns here, there, and everywhere - and creating the concrete jungle is more important than Quality of Life issues - what we have not done is address Quality of Life issues - as we should have.
Here is San Francisco - child care is so expensive - that parents look forward to sending their children to school - more when they can and get admitted to grade school.
Again and again these youth in elementary and middle school - we have seen an increase in youth - who are hyper, cause problems more by targeting other youth who cannot defend themselves.
It is not uncommon for teenagers to bring knives and guns to school.
The teachers, principal, the administrators, the SF Unified School District Board, any who is involved with our SF Unified School District - that comes under the State of California knows - that our children are NOT cared for.
One main reason " Toxic Stress" - more that affects the infants, children, youth, young adults - others.
Toxic stress foster more in dysfunctional families - contaminations such as we see in area like Bayview Hunters Point - in our schools - where the turn over of our teachers is a disease it self - we all know where there is NO continuity and standard that are fostered - we have pandemonium.
As you may have already know - the SF Police Department - has just arrived at the door - and is factoring and more making some attempt to understand what
" cultural competency " and " implicit bias " is all about.
The SF Police Department for all its talk - is going no where.
We have NO deep psychological test given to our SF Police Officers in San Francisco.
Many come from dysfunctional families - others love to punish others - these psychological defect - is dangerous - and creates the many " rogue police officers " that we have in the ranks.
To make matters worse - we have a person on the Command Group - who had access to the tests - and was coaching White Officers - to get higher grades - illegally.
This person still gives presentation - was not demoted - and he and others have created a whole cadre and culture of SF Police Officers - who do not have standards, less morals, and even less adhere to standards. I call them chronic - rogue police officers.
I personally have attended hundreds of SF Police Commission meetings - personal know the last 12 Chiefs of Police - and know what I am talking about.
I participated when the PERF document was created - have attended hundreds of focus meeting on Violence Prevention and related issues.
The many shootings and killings - the many infringement we hear of - shoot first and ask questions later.
SF Police Officers who fail to read one's " Miranda Rights".
Brag - that the SF Police Department - is not required to read one's " Miranda Rights " - must remember we pay their salaries.
If they do not want to serve San Franciscans - they better work in places like Novato, Hillsborough and so on.
Places where there are more Whites live - think their " shit" don't stink - and where " cultural competency" - " adhering to standards" - practicing " implicit bias " - is not the practiced.
Recently a young adult who has a career job - was not read his right - and is now at 850 Bryant Street - the Jail House.
This parent also spent 8 hours - and was taken at 12:36 am - wee hours of the morning - from the SF Mission Police Station to the Jail House - 850 Bryant Street.
If today by 11 am he is not charged - he should be released.
We are not accepting any charges - the father being charged - without due process and more not read his Miranda Rights.
The father has taken care of his twin sons - for over 10 years. Be it the twins are with the mother - who is wayward and does as she please - she love getting things for free - and has not hesitated to bite the hand that feeds her.
One of his twin son - 10 years old - was found rummaging at the premises of the Swimming Pool - while on a field trip -his mother was notified and she did nothing about the situation at hand.
The Father who is separated from the Mother - was notified and he took action - punished his son.
At the end of the punishment, and before the punishment - the Father told the son - why he was being punished - more, according the Polynesian tradition.
Our SF Police Office in large measure have No clue about -
" Cultural Competency " and less about " Implicit Bias ".
This one SF Police Officer - a woman - from the SF Mission Station - trapped the father by calling him first - and informing him that she was recording the call.
Then visiting his home - failed to read his rights - handcuffed him on the pretext of questioning him. He was taken to the SF Mission Station - to be questioned and was not.
She did not question him for 8 hours - she promised to meet us as we arrived at the SF Mission Police Station - I was present too - all the time. We waited for hours - then a SF Police Office came and told us - the woman SF Police Officer - would not becoming to meet us.
This woman SF Police Officer - had the audacity to put the single parent of the twin son - in jail for 8 hours and then transport him in the wee hours of the morning - that happened July 9, 2019 and today July 11, 2019 - he has just been charged on two charges.
His court appearance will be at 1:30 pm - 850 Bryant - Department 12 - we want you all there - to show support.
In the meantime his boss wants him at work - he has a career job.
He has paid his ex- wife who is Black - the mother of the twins - even as he is the loving Father of the twins - money - hard earned money to take care of the twins.
The mother does not work - has not worked - has the twins - and other children by other father.
Each time she wants to go some where for weeks on end - she drops the twins home - the extended family look after the twins.
The father has had the patience tolerating the nonsense that has been thrown his way - by his wayward Black wife - who has been a pain in the ass.
When the authorities brought to the notice that one of twins - was rummaging and taking things from the lockers at the Dr. Martin Luther Swimming pool - she did nothing.
As I stated the father - punished the twin - one twin brother behaves himself - the other does not.
The Father loves his twin sons - be it that they spend more time with his dysfunctional wife - who does not want to be a decent - human being.
Anyone can charge a decent human being with some charges - that come under some drab, Smithsonian Penal Codes - if your read the charges - this case was one of them.
The ex-wife put a restraining order on her ex-husband - who she use like a dirty rag.
She takes money from him - dumps the twin at his door steps - every time she wants to have a gala time.
She does anything and everything to irritate him - while he works hard to keep in career jobs - and put bread and butter on the table.
His ex-wife is a indigent - who has chosen - to depend on others - she has gone far and beyond plain decent - with intent - she has allowed the authorities - to adverse impact and traumatize her former husband.
The community at large - including myself support this young adult - a Samoan who is in jail - his rights were not read - and what is more - some " rouge woman SF Police Officer - took it upon herself - to use some ploys, machinations, and shenanigans - to harm this young adult.
A young adult - who is decent - does not have a single charge against his name - minus the present charge - and is being traumatized.
The Polynesian community stands united - and the SF Police Department has been put on notice.
The District Attorney George Gascon has been notified.
The Public Defender's Office is notified.
We have hired an attorney - who is waiting to address the charges - the young adult - will not agree to the charges - in other other words - he is innocent.
We keep wasting millions of dollars - on mundane and stupid cases - while killer roam the streets of San Francisco.
We need to establish a Commission on Child Care and Parental Rights - this Commission - must lay the rules and regulation - initiate the right Ordinances - and not permit - some authorities - who are NOT educated on issues - have no clue how to raise a child - in fact many of the rogue police officers - come from dysfunctional families.
Many join the SF Police Department - to vent and release their pent up feelings - more against people of color. We have the empirical data - and we have stated this - again and again - STOP putting people in cages - the 850 Bryant Street Jail - the entire building must be " imploded" - it stinks to high heaven.
Feces and other contaminated sewer - keeps seeping and leading all over the place - including inundating the Office of the District Attorney and other offices.
The Courts held at 850 Bryant must be moved on a War Footing - to some location - that is not contaminated - as is the entire building at 850 Bryant Street - the Jail House - that must be torn down - now.
I have yet to hear from the SF Police Chief - other that I sent a e-mail too - stop treating Citizens like chattel - STOP using antiquated penal codes - and jail parents who have to punish their children.
Today teenager - are carrying guns to shopping mall and schools - it is just a matter of time - the will train the guns - on those that think they are safe now - no one is safe today.
These knuckle heads - must be punished - speaking to them - with no action - does no good. Even animals behave better than some of these wayward teenagers - who adverse impact innocent people in our shopping mall, our streets, on MUNI, in our schools, at our sports events - every where.
We gathered 20 of us strong - at 850 Bryant Street - the Jail House - the Judge made sure she announced the entire family was present in solidarity.
The prosecutor as well as the Public Defender agreed - since
Manase Antonio Fou Faalogoifo had no previous convictions - he should be released - and he will be released today in the evening.
Manase will have to report 60 days from today - at a Family Court - where he will have his day in Court - to speak his mind - and his record set straight.
The SF Police Department did not read his Miranda Rights - they on further review - reduce the charges from four to two - and removed the bail that was set at $75,000.
We all must be leery of the SF Police Department - and some rogue officers - who will go out of their way - to adversely impact a family man.
Every father and mother who want the best for their children - must discipline the children - be it no parents must misuse the manner in which a child or youth is punished - so as to cause extreme harm.
We all learned that united we can achieve the best for the community - in this case Manase Antonio Fou Falllogoifo's
entire family - the family stood together - and learned a lot from this sordid - episode.
We hope - with all the killings and shooting - the SF Police will learn better to protect and serve the citizens of San Francisco - learn to prioritize - where to focus their attention - and stop wasting time on mundane issues - more listening to the Child Protective Services who have lost their respect.
CPS is under staff, fail to have experts - certified psychologists, psychiatrists, Social workers who have a Bachelors degree and more a Masters - other experts - again and again they entice the SF Police Department to train their energy - on issues that are tarnished.
SF Chief Scott, SFDistrict Attorney George Gascon, the SF City Attorney Dennis Attorney, the SF City Administrator Naomi Kelly, the SF Controller.
The SF Mayor London Breed - has failed miserably to address Quality of Life issues - more those linked to our infants, children, youth, young adults, our Elders - those with compromised health - more those mentally and physically challenged.
Families must learn not to open the door unless the SF Police has a warrant. Learn about their Miranda rights - lean to rally support - so that those close to any family - can come in force and represent in Court - the Judge will see things in a different light - shed light where there is abject - darkness.
