The Africa Climate Summit (ACS) - held in Nairobi, Kenya -
September 4 to 8, 2023.
The Africa Climate Summit is being held in Nairobi, Kenya.
Nairobi, Kenya - lies at an altitude of 5500 feet. The name in Masai means - "place of cool waters. "
This gathering of some of the African nations - is to entice those nations who are the main polluters to contribute to all African countries - who are adversely impacted - by the depletion of the Ozone level - the high level of Carbon Dioxide - created that encourages - Climate Change.
Here is a video that does not allow one to leave a comment.
Such are the ways of the wicked - talking from both sides of their mouth:

Here is another video that allows the reader to
comprehend more :

54 Nations make the Continent of Africa - Africa the home of homo sapiens.
Each of us has a connection with Africa - you would not know that dealing with the racists - colonial powers.
To this day - they have not apologized for the wrongdoing - stealing billions of dollars - artifacts one of a kind - maiming and killing the locals - the crimes cry for - " crimes against humanity."
The Belgians, the British, the Dutch, the French, the Portuguese, the Spanish, the Italians, the Arabs with their slave trade along the coast of East Africa - other middlemen - all played a role in adversely impacting the culture of many Africans - who once lived peacefully in their villages.
These crimes against humanity must not be forgotten and revisited by gimmicks - polluting and contaminating in one area - any paying blood money - to win browny points - and make a mockery - of Mother Earth.
Let it be known if anyone contaminates one area - they contaminate the entire area - Mother Earth is not to be treated with disdain - and bloody money is not what makes any action or bribe that is tainted - wholesome.
Now that the Africa Climate Summit has ended - we must hold all that wagging their tongue that has no bone - we must hold their feet to the fire. We must have them write the timeline and goals - and what is important to remember - we must ask for standards - standards matter.
For centuries since the White men landed on the Continent of Africa - we have pandered to his madness - it is time now - I call it the Cannibal Time - who tamed the Elephants and invaded Europe - the Roman Army - shivered, and the rest was history.
General Cannibal was an African general - and the Romans have described his conquest. We must not forget the Moors and their contribution to Europe - through universities in Cordoba - much like the centers of learning in Timbuktu - present Mali.
We cannot allow the European nations, China, India, and Russia to deplete the Ozone level - and not be responsible for the damage done.
Autocratic governments such as China and Russia - have no place in Africa to continue colonization of another type today - much as the colonists of the past.
The Wagner Group has tortured innocent Africans - the Chinese dump cheap trinkets - and we think nothing of this nonsense.
Russia and China will fall flat on their face - Russia will be brought to its knees - China's economy is spiraling - its real estate giant - Evergrande is in shambles - and has over $32 billion in debt.
Africa has a narrow window to right the wrong, which can only happen with good, sound - leadership.
Good leaders know the way, show the way, and go the way.
The artifacts and rich documents of Timbuktu - located in today's Mali - are well known to the world - once leading philosophers, theologians, mathematicians, and those well versed with geometry, algebra, architecture, medicine, music, calligraphy, and more - gathered the best of minds - the could stay, were well taken of - and shared their wisdom. It is all documented in documents that are now preserved in a sacred - location.
The whites who came to Africa - came to loot - the whites wherever they go - loot and cheat - they did this on Turtle Island - the name before Columbus arrived here - before him, indigenous Native Americans -lived and protected Mother Earth - for thousands of years.
There are many other hidden civilizations in Africa - historians are slow to cast light on these civilizations - while they brag about this, that, and the other - all related to the whites - case in point - where the Zulu reigned supreme - until the Dutch landed and destroyed the Zulu culture and contribution - battle-trained warriors, dance, music, leadership - in any hand to hand battle they could take anyone.
The musket played havoc - because they could kill from a distance - and the rest is history.
Today, the few national parks - showcase wild animals' zebras, lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, deer, fantastic beasts, and more. No other place - other than Africa - boasted so much wildlife.
This was possible because of the pristine rivers and lakes, old-growth forest, and large tracts of plain - laden with rich grass that the animals could feed and survive to live - millions of animals - millions of birds - all had sufficient to eat and live and come again to the same place - season to season.
Desertification threatens most of the land in Africa - attributed to back-to-back droughts. We can discuss desertification in general terms - world experts in agriculture and horticulture - greenhouses - drip watering - and other more sophisticated growing of crops - are flourishing all over the world - but not so much in Africa - which consists of 54 nations.
African women have played a key role in agriculture - many families have small plots - for centuries growing crops - when one could predict the season - smell the air, and know that rain was coming.
The back-to-back droughts all over Africa have played havoc; with that, the deaths of millions of cattle, goats, camels, fowl, and what have you.
The above translates to millions of Africans - infants, children, youth, young adults, our beloved Elders - those with compromised health.
Many see the famished skeletons of infants and children - youth and young adults - the Elders and others - and feel they cannot do something - as long as anyone has life - they can do something. Speak truth to power - stand up and represent. Harambe!
It is time to aid the African women with funds to build homes and provide clean drinking water on a War Footing.
Drill artesian wells so the women and children can drink clean drinking water. Provide electricity, sound education, transportation, markets, sanitary facilities, and hospitals and address the needs of the women.
This climate change - any way you look at it - originates in greed - and those nations who are not paying heed - fostering contamination and pollution even today.
Africa is not responsible for the disasters that Climate Change brings - those that are greedy are reliable - they must apologize to the other nations - that suffer from Climate Change.
Commit themselves to do something holistic - contribute resources to the mind-blogging situation - and put things on track - now.
African nations have suffered from back-to-back droughts - losing millions of cattle, camels, goats, other domestic fowl stocks, and the like - creating severe food insecurity.
There has been severe flooding - the inundation so severe - millions have had to flee and take refuge in other African nations.
Living in filthy conditions - making ends meet - and utter starvation - the African infants, children, youth, and elders - dying of hunger - while those alive are trying their best to survive.

The time has come to speak Truth to Power.
The time has come to those present - the empirical data.
Indeed, the African nations that contribute less than 4% of the Carbon Dioxide and suffer more than 80% of the adverse impacts - need help.
Hundreds are protesting and bringing attention to the disparity, trials, and tribulation they have suffered - even as Kenya leads all nations in Africa - when it comes to attaining primary goals - having achieved the capability - having 80% of its renewable energy consumption - from wind, solar, hydroelectricity - however, there is more to attain - viable and sustainable.
Quality of Life issues have been compromised in Kenya - many cannot afford to live in Nairobi, Kenya. Thousands in rural areas do not have sound hospitals, suffer from food insecurity, and women are not given the resources and education to succeed.
Tribal infighting is looming all over Kenya - and we have seen thousands die in the past. When Kenyans are given the resources, all can do better - I have seen with my own eyes - and listened to hundreds of Kenyans - that there is too much suffering brought about by abject poverty.
Kenyans must rise above the malaise and shine with focused unity- tenacity and fortitude.
Women in Kenya have taken the lead in addressing Climate Change - planting millions of trees.
Using unique techniques to till the ground and make barren land - fertile again - successfully planting all sorts of crops.
Women are treated with disdain - playing second fiddle and creating like chattel. The men in Kenya must learn to treat women - with great respect - honor the matriarchal system - and follow the dictates and wisdom of our ancestors.
Mutilating the clitoris - conducting this mutilation in an unhygienic environment - many women get infected and die from these primitive operations.
Imagine using shaving blades to carry on this illegal mutilation of the clitoris - and paying no attention to the screams and pain of the young girl or woman undergoing this trauma.
Many African women carry the scars and trauma of mutilation of the clitoris - for life - many refusing to have anything much with men and lovemaking. The time has come to shed light where there is abject darkness.
These primitive demands by mostly men - must stop - women must have a say over their bodies - and men can do better - learning to respect women - as much as they do men.
These illegal mutilations must STOP - now.
Respect and honor Kenyan women and all women with whom all - women and men in unity - can uplift one another.
On another level, Kenya and some other African nations are doing their best to put their best foot forward - when it comes to clean energy, and this progress must be acknowledged and supported - since it is viable and sustainable.
Kenya, for example, has risen to the occasion and produces 80 % of its clean, renewable energy from solar panels and wind turbines.
China, India, the United States, and many European nations - are polluting the environment depleting the Ozone level.
The mighty sun penetrates the Ozone level and increases the heat - which forces Climate Change to exacerbate and cause havoc.
2000, we held The National Summit On Africa in Washington, D.C. United States of America.
Even then, some of us environmentalists - brought to the attention of those participating in clearing old-growth forests - blatant mining by those who could do better - chose to pollute the rivers, land, and air and adversely impact - millions.
Millions of Africans suffer from diseases they have never encountered before.
The world heard about it but did nothing whatsoever.
We have just to gather the empirical data - on Africa and COVID-19 vaccinations administered - the World Health Organization making promises and not keeping them.
Less than 3% of the Africans on the continent of Africa are vaccinated - why?
Africa is known for its rich mineral resources - Africans by now could mine these riches - corrupt African leaders chose to make money for themselves - and allow folks from Russia, China, England, Denmark - and elsewhere - to foster their greed for copper, nickel, gold, silver, cobalt, diamonds and more.
We know about this - but we need to understand - why African leaders - allow such atrocities to be committed and when - the greed stops.
Africa once had the most pristine mountains and snow, rivers and lakes, and forests that I spent a lot of time - nurturing myself - I was born in Nairobi, Kenya.
Seagrasses, salt marshes, mangroves, and other systems along the coast of Africa - help absorb and store CO2. We must do everything we can to protect and restore these areas - to decarbonize and keep our environment healthy.
The Earth's most extensive carbon stock is found within the continental crusts and upper mantle of the Earth, a large portion of which is sedimentary rock formed over millions of years.
In recent years - the coral reefs worldwide have been bleaching - and turning white - no more can the divers swim around the corals and observe the rich life.
The millions of live, healthy coral embrace all sorts of fish and sea plants - cannot be taken for granted.
We are studying and trying our best to restore and keep the coral alive and healthy.
I was following a team of scientists in Florida - Maimi and another in Australia.
Some - have succeeded, and others failed - we must keep the coral alive - kudos to those scientists and volunteers trying their best.
In recent years - many cities worldwide have experienced severe large fires - large areas have been incinerated - no place worldwide is safe anymore.
In Brazil, in recent days, we have seen severe floods - homes swiped away - the force of the raging waters sweeping and destroying almost everything in its path.
We notice the same scenario in Pakistan, Nigeria, Spain, China, Greece, California, and Mozambique - all over the world - unprecedented floods, fires, hurricanes, and cyclones.
We know Climate Change is here to stay - and will worsen the calamities - while some continue to contaminate and pollute - unabated. Mother Earth must be respected.
We must STOP - polluting and contaminating - playing with FIRE.
The many travels all over East Africa allowed me to see this world in a different dimension.
Traveling all over India, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, here in the United States, Alaska - the Scandinavian nations, and more made me comprehend, understand, distinguish, - do a needs assessment - one needs to educated on issues.
Once, nature flourished all over Africa and elsewhere. Today, we witness a situation that has begun to erode and destroy all that once grew and helped millions of species.
Scientists estimate that 100 to 10,000 species go extinct yearly, from microscopic organisms to large plants and animals.
The indigenous people remind us - by calling our Earth - Mother Earth - that we must take little and leave more for future - generations.
It is not too late to debar foreign entities from doing business on the continent of Africa - stealing depleting fossil fuel, nickel, copper, lithium, cobalt, gold, silver, and diamonds - clear-cutting old-growth forests - using gill nets to wipe the fish - creating Africa like a garbage can.
Those African leaders who amass great wealth for themselves while leaving the local population to die in dire straits - must be brought to book.
Many of the autocratic nations in Africa - are formed not to serve the people - but for those governing - to amass wealth - they can only do this by leasing land - to foreign nations like China and Russia to plunder more and give a little to the autocratic leaders.
At the end of the Africa Climate Summit - 23 billion dollars were promised to African nations - some 54 countries.
We have noted the results of the Climate Summits in Paris and Scotland - for all the talk, there has yet to be a walk.
For hundreds of years - African women have been treated with disdain -more by those who carried on the slave trade - to this day, the atrocities of the light-skinned - camel and horse riding - burning homes, raping women, killing children, murdering dark-skinned Africans - have been tolerated by the International courts.
The human treatment - crimes against humanity - must be noted - the Wagner Group falling apart - with links to autocratic Russia and monster Vladimir Putin.
Chinese dump trinkets and steal precious metals, nickel, copper, gold, diamonds, cobalt, and lithium.
Many Chinese have four or five wives - In the end, the children of these Chinese focused on raping African nations - will be left behind to fend for themselves.
The Chinese who fathered the children - will not take the responsibility that the United Nations and other international bodies - talk about but fail to adjudicate and bring justice and fair play to the children - those who fathered the children - are irresponsible and greedy - Chinese men who owe that allegiance to the autocratic government - their leader -Xi Jinping.
It does not help that more and more coups bring on board African leaders - and autocratic governments - initially promising to support the local population - to bring about change and address quality of life issues - finally doing nothing - and traumatizing millions.
Climate Change has played havoc with African women and the children they bear - no mention has been made at these Summits about the burden African women bear - suffer - and slowly die.
In years past, when crops flourished, the cattle, the goats, the camels - other domestic fowl and animals thrived - the African women were taken for granted - to rear children, do the home chores - and treated like chattel.
African women deserve to be funded - with African women in charge of the issues - sitting at the table and making viable and sustainable decisions - I am watching these summits - popping up everywhere - most talking the talk - with no walk. Harambe!
Let us listen to the advocates from Kenya.
In Africa - they matter - they speak from the heart :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jj7TKdL1uW4
In the land where human beings originated - carbon dated to over 15,000 years - we must learn not to invade lands and impose our sordid ways.
Killing elephants for their tusks - lions and leopards for their fur - the White folks will never get it - they need it all when they see it all.
I love the Maasai, the Kikuyu, the Kamba, the Moragoli - the many other tribes of East Africa - the people of the East African coast who speak the purest - Kiswahili.
I learned a lot from Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey - they uncovered the fossils of the ancient hominines - at Olduvai Gorge- the Rift Valley.
When we have these summits - we must ask ourselves who will speak for the birds, the animals, the fish, the flora, the fauna - the pristine environment that once favored Africa and Kenya - which was good and now is suspect - polluted and contaminated.
There must be a deep respect for the human race - homo sapience - and the place of honor that Africa mandates - there were civilizations in Africa much before anywhere else - be it Egypt is known well - the other cultures are not spoken about - that is the way of the White man.
In the mountains lives Mungu - the Great Spirit - and in the forest, other spirits must be acknowledged - let it be known - if you do not follow the protocol - you will only be in default.
The forest provides the medicines - some called herbal - and others ayurvedic - these herbs are well-known to the medicine man. The Rashta man knows about this and more.
Slowly - but indeed - the medicines of the Western world - are being used - paradoxically, many of them from the plants of the forest of Africa and elsewhere.
There are large lakes - underground lakes - the largest watershed in the world - that water has been polluted and contaminated - by those who dig artesian wells not so much to quench the thirst of the people - "water in life. "
Millions and millions of water are used by the mining operations - the Russians, the Chinese, and others who have no conscience - polluting the land, the water, and the air - and think they can get away with murder in broad daylight.
It is the time at these Africa Summits - we lay the rules and regulations - that forbid raping Africa of its recourses - to have full transparency and accountability.
There is already bickering as to who should receive money and for what? It is typical when one does not comprehend the details - and is at the mercy of the other - who uses money to control one.
The good actions count - actions that will address quality of life issues.
The world nations that pollute must admit that they cannot go Scott-free - they must address many of the adverse impacts on their making.
At this time, we must acknowledge the ancestors and the indigenous people - their values are miles apart from those who think they know better - can impose their religion on others - and control others at the point of a gun.
We know the deeds of King Leopold of Belgium - the former Belgian Congo and the now the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
We also know the Mau Mau who impacted Kenya and its liberation and freedom - where I was born.
The many leaders I followed - by reading more and trying to understand - the revolution - Leo Gama Pinto, Tom Mboya, Jomo Kenyatta, and others.
It is time African leaders understand the concrete jungles that the Western countries have created - are doomed - millions of Carbon Dioxide adversely impact the cities - where people live in congregate conditions.
The recent pandemic revealed to us - the damage congregate living - in density living conditions can cause - millions have died.
Africans must go to their roots - and build better and cleaner and use clean energy.
Devoid of cutting old-growth forests and more trees - clean energy in the way to go wind, water, and solar panels.
Kenya has set the example - and must now - stabilize its government to move forward - with tenacity and fortitude.
I remember meeting Jomo Kenyatta, Julius Nyerere, and many other leaders - as a young man - and today follow the ongoing events in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda - where Obote was President.
I wish the organizers of this Africa Climate Summit - 2023 - the best. Let Kenyans unite and show the way.
Much like good leaders know the way, go the way, and show the way.

At this time - it is paramount that we listen to the advocates
from Kenya and all over Africa - the 54 nations -
Let not the leaders from the Developed nations -
muddy the waters - the African people must decide
their future - they have the intelligence and the capacity
building. Of course, the resources should be provided -
with the younger Africans - managing their destiny:
