SF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ADULT RESIDENTIAL FACILITY - ITS TYRST - WITH POLITICS AND THE FAILED POLICIES OF MAYOR LONDON BREED - HER HEAD IN THE SAND.

Right before you - is the brand new
SF General hospital -
to the right - on the back ground -
built in 1976 - the gray hospital - the older wing -
built with help from the advocates - living in the
Bayview Hunters Point -
the idiots would not known that -
having NO clue about history - and less about respect -
is what is happening today - jackasses having a field day.

Mayor London Breed lacks the hand on experience  - and has made several mistakes - that have adversely impacted thousands of decent San Franciscans.

Common sense is a rare sense - and for sure - as you would aspect - London Breed has NO common sense - she has NO clue about true - Quality of Life issues.

One singular direct and to the point way of knowing - how a good Mayor fares daily - is to evaluate matters linked to Safety, Health, Education, Transportation, the Environment - Mayor London Breed get a -F . Pathetic.

When you witness a Mayor busy most of the time cutting ribbons, barking up the tree at the podium - her minions standing behind her - she is making a mockery - of everything - decent.

London Breed continues reading prepared speech - you know - you have a Mayor that represents nothing much and sounds like an empty barrel.

Anyone will tell you - an empty barrel makes a loud noise - and more one that is a heifer - also know in some circles " as big loud mouth ".

The Sister standing tall and representing -
the authorities at SF General Hospital -
kicking the can down the street -
keeping much needed beds empty -
forcing the mentally challenged to live on the streets
of San Francisco.

The San Francisco Behavioral Health Adult Residential Facility - which we created decades ago - the program and plan was being discussed  - giving you mentally challenged - Long Term Care.

The conceptual plan - the architectural plans in place - would be linked primarily to - Long Term Care linked to the Mentally Challenged.  Somewhere along the line - the mission objective was changed.

Today they call the facility San Francisco Behavioral Health Residential Facility - daring to keep some beds vacant - and using all sorts of excuses - circumventing the humanity - and putting the patient last.

The facility has a nice garden - a grotto that I used to visit and pray to Our Lady.

Nice  - palm trees - some old ones were replaced - and lined at the side on the building some healthy - tall redwood trees.

A sign on the fence says San Francisco Mental Health Rehabilitation Center - and probably must reflect a more acceptable sign - in keep with our contemporary world - and changes made linked to the mentally challenged.

The Union keep doing what they do best -
the Nurses work hard -
the authorities seem to have lost their mind -
no respect for humanity -
they authorities seem to be in the wrong business.

Recently - the Main Media revealed that a number of empty beds - have been left empty - some staff at the SF Behavioral Health Residential Facility - laid off - and others transferred - creating a mess.

On the third floor of the new hospital there is a state of art wing - for those needing shorter care - patients suffering from despondency.

Other mental disorders needing special care -many patients treated well - recover and lead normal lives.

On the streets of San Francisco - we see an exponential increase - in the number of the mentally challenged.

Many of these mentally challenged - aggressive, loud and abusive - they lack treatment - which one cannot get at a Navigation Center.

Deprived of medication - less seeing a qualified  social worker, a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a Register Nurse - many of the mentally challenged -  have been thrown to the wind.

They send the Gold Team, the Red Team - other teams - and these teams call the SF Police Department - the entire circus has been going on for years - those mentally challenged need a roof, they need the right experts to - pin point the situation at hand.

We waste millions - use the SF Police Department to do Social Work - they go to help those in need - if they see a knife or think they are in danger - they shoot to kill.

The Gold Team , the Red Team, the Yellow team - most lack diversity - but most in these circles can talk the talk - they make good money - drive around in brand new cars - it is a JOKE.

The mentally challenged are considered vagrants - much like the untouchables -  now - some one has decided to change the rules - in the middle of the game - and keep beds empty that are urgently - needed.

In December 100 of beds -  succor given by private entities - here in San Francisco - and  - well known for taking care of the mentally challenged - will not be funded.

Much the same happened a year ago - when homes that accept the Elder and those that need care - were not funded - sending hundreds into the street.

California has the 5th largest Economy in the world - has NO plan - how - to deal with our Mentally Challenge - with empathy and compassion.

The City and County has a Budget of $12.7 Billion - the Mayor get paid $366,000 - has NO experience - she is famous for spewing diatribe - and barking up the wrong tree.

At a recent meeting - the SF Health Commission was bombarded by frontline advocates, nurses, social workers, psychologists, union members - to NO avail.

The SF Health Commission better wake up - the corruption has reached saturation point - enough is enough.

The SF Health Commission - has been known to do nothing at all.

Dr Grant N. Colfax -
he is the  Director of the Health Department -
he seems to be finding his way around -
swayed by Mayor London Breed -
who talks the talks but cannot walk the walk.

First we had Barbara Garcia who was the Director of San Francisco Health Department and now we have  her replacement - Dr Grant N. Colfax - he loves to talk talk but has yet to walk the walk.

Attacking - innocent people - more tourists in down town San Francisco - seeing is believing. The tourist have no clue that treatment is denied to these human beings - many citizens of San Francisco.

Imagine if the SF General Hospital - throws some patients on the streets - and this happens - because certain norms and policies - do not take into account human dignity.

Talk about verbosity and using the word EQUITY which our Mayor London Breed has no clue and more the Director of Human Rights Commission Sheryl Evans Davis.

One million dollars - our tax payers money is set aside - to pussyfoot with - when we have the mentally challenged - on our streets - most without medication, less food, and lying in unhygienic - conditions.

The Mayor London Breed - failing to do a through - " needs assessment " - because she has NO clue - how to lead.

With the transfer of Saint Luke to Sutter Hospitals - better known in San Francisco - as California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC)  an entire floor - catering to the mentally challenged - was removed and the patients displaced.

An entire floor catering to patients who are suffering from respiratory diseases - also - an entire floor catering to subacute patients - displaced.

The SF General Hospital and other hospitals - are on stand by but cannot accommodate - more, the mentally challenged - especially those needing and deserving - Long Term Medical Care attention.

Many do not have families - and while the nursing staff, social workers, the psychiatrists, the psychologists.

Other - experts do their best - the leadership at the SF General Hospital is always being defensive and lying - looking at you in the eye and lying.

We long term advocates have seen this with Laguna Honda - the recent discovery of some of those employees cheating, robbing, stealing and being abusive to the patients.

The Mayor London Breed and Dr Grant N. Colfax who is now the Director at SF General Hospital - promised to make changes at Laguna Honda.

Little - is forthcoming - there has been a very slow healing.

Here is some information on Dr Grant N. Colfax :

https://npino.com/npi/1871610246-dr.-grant-n.-colfax/

To add fuel to fire one employee fired from Laguna Honda has been hired at SF General Hospital  and the SF Health Department - gets more pay - and has been criticizing the Nursing Staff and other - and this nonsense must STOP.

When the brand new facility was built and as I mentioned it was agreed upon that the state of art facility would serve the Mentally Challenged most of us - ardent advocates - were happy and content - at last some of those needing help - could use the 55 of so beds.

When it came to our notice - through the Main Media - that beds were left empty - while the Mentally Challenged at various stages - who could have used the beds - were transferred to some SROs (single residential occupancy rooms).

Some - to the jails - situated at 850 Bryant Street for treatment.

This may come as a shock - many released - to take care of themselves - on the streets of San Francisco.

Again and again we see small teams meet the Mayor London Breed and come out with a plan - so that the Mayor - foolish and immature as she is - can win Brownie Points - plans are acted upon with any " needs assessment " and most important no vetted timelines and goals.

Thinking about some Navigation Center - and then figuring out some beds from the SF Behavioral Health Residential Facility - providing some empty beds - is totally uncalled for - and speaks loudly - how Mayor London Breed reacts.

When it comes to making a " needs assessment " those around her want her to feel good and say things to make her salivate - that is not right - the Mayor's job is a far cry from a bordello or massage parlor.

In real life - it does not work like that.

When the empirical data is presented - one must understand every aspect - and when it comes to the mentally challenged for example - one must have empathy and compassion.

Experts who can discern and have proven experience then must give their input - this has not been done - and now that the cat is out of the bag - some folks are busy - trying to cover up their tracks - pathetic.

It helps to understand chronologically how in San Francisco when some crises occurred - how we all put our minds together - our heart in the right place - and addressed issues at hand.

The people funded Laguna Honda not the City and County of San Francisco - initially called " Poor House".

The people from the Bayview got the funding to building the SF General Hospital - the gray building - not the brick buildings. Also many clinics - the one on Potrero Hill, the Southeast Health Clinic, the Clinic in the South of Marker Area.

The AIDS crisis was one of them in the early 1980s and we all remember Dr Silverman - we put our minds together and made good things happen. There are those who were present then - who today cannot comprehend - what the fuck is happening.

Today those same folks are not enthused - because we are dealing with " thugs " - who want to say something - mostly nonsense - and expect others to do their bidding.

They can fuck off and we must put a STOP this on going nonsense.

More - when it comes to the mentally challenged -
our Elders who are slowly dying on the streets of San Francisco.

We put our minds together and dealt with HEP - C.

We put our minds tougher and came out with HealthySF - more caring for the indigent and our beloved infants, children, youth and even young adults.

We must address and stop all those who have been too many terms on the SF Health Commission - wasting our time - we need a breath of fresh air - new candidates with a vision and energy to make rapid - progress.

The present outdated Commissioners  listen to the people - but apparently they do not seem to comprehend the urgent need - acting very nonchalant.

They are caught up in the politics of the day - and have failed to represent the people - we have an over $2 Billion budget - linked to the SF General Hospital - and we are an utter failure.

I took care of a person very close to me - and had time to talk the doctors, interns, the many other I know and have been knowing - for the last 40 years.

Right now the SF General Hospital is dealing with some brand software and hardware - the process in tedious - and this comes - when there is NO process - linked to strict timelines and goals.

The staff needing training - have NOT been given the training - and many are not familiar with the innovative tools - less have studied the purpose to streamlining the process.

The staff must understand - that when one inputs a few key and pertinent information - they can have access to the need information - immediately.

I know the old system was Smithsonian - but it seems even now - one has to wait for half an hour sometime three quarters of an hour - just for the " representative " to get back to you.

Then blame the new system - for not being able to provide the information.

Again and again we have witness under Dr Mitch, Barbara Garcia, and now this guy Colfax - nothing much has changed.
