MORE THAN TWENTY THREE MILLION SQUARE FEET OF SPACE - COMMERCIAL SPACE VACANT - DOWNTOWN AND ALL OVER SAN FRANCISCO - THE SF GENERAL FUND WILL BE IMPACTED SERIOUSLY - AND THERE IS MORE.

 

This is the Salesforce building - this building and several other buildings belonging to Salesforce - have hundreds of floors vacant - add to that the more miniature skyscrapers - and all that adds to millions of square feet of commercial space - over 24 million - and there is more to come.

San Francisco has over twenty-four million square feet of commercial space vacant -downtown San Francisco and other areas - for the taking.

The San Francisco Assessor's Office is pulling its hair and teeth - that will be a significant loss.

The General Fund will be impacted - around $600 million less coming in - next fiscal year, if not more.

Last year we had a $100 million surplus - and Non-Profits and others were vying for add-backs and other grants - many got it - perhaps for the last time.

Over 10% of our population in San Francisco have left San Francisco - never to come back again. 

It seems this fact does not bother the Mayor - whose primary purpose is pussyfooting with Big Developers. Her time is coming.

In San Francisco, we have NO representation -practically every month - we have some new program or project - great fanfare with a press release - and Mayor London Breed - talking from the side of her mouth.

She is constantly barking up the wrong tree - and in recent weeks - trying her best to introduce some new - someone receiving a few seconds of fame - and then it is business as usual.

For three years, our children have had no quality education imparted.

 The Mayor of London Breed could care less - except to muddy the waters.  She cares less what happened to our children - more children of color.

The Mayor, London Breed, forgets - many vouched for her - when she was an utter failure - as a young person. 

Time and time again, she will talk about it - the time she cares for our infants and children - and do what she is supposed to do. 

Actions counts - talk is cheap. 

During the pandemic - Mayor London Breed failed miserably.

There was a mess with the vaccinations - and thousands died in the Mission. The issue at hand was too many congregate situations. 

To this day, we do not have a qualified COMMANDER the like we have at the Federal Emergency Management Agency - linked to Emergency Services. 

We have a Safety Officer - who has failed - again and again - but she is propped up - because she is in bed with the Mayor, who herself died during the pandemic.

We saw tent cities like this - where someone charged as much as $60,000 to use a tent and have two meals a day. This location was between the Main Library and the Asian Museum. Drug dealing continued until the courts forced the City and County of San Francisco to shut down this operation.

In the middle of the pandemic, Mayor London Breed attended a dinner at the infamous Laundromat Restaurant in Napa - and again participated at a Night Club in San Francisco - both times - wearing no masks.

On the other hand, we were told to wear a mask and stop - congregate situations - hundreds died more in the Mission and Bayview.

A link was sent to many -  who wanted to get vaccinated - no one could open the link. 

We had to step in and open the link - using our technical capacity. 

Both at 1800 Oakdale and the Mission - San Franciscans volunteered and made good things happen.

We know what we did, how many folks helped get vaccinations, and how many thousands we saved. 

We have the empirical data to prove what we say.

Today - there are dangerous variants BA.4 ad BA.5, and a flu variant that has killed infants and children.

The City and County send mixed signals - as things stand - we should wear a mask - more when it comes to congregate situations indoors and outdoors.

While some try their best to serve the general population - we see millions of dollars wasted - taxpayers' money - over 400 SF City workers - double-dipping. All have an SF City job and a secondary job - at the same time. Dr. Grant Colfax, who heads the Health Department, spends too much time - standing by the Mayor at the many mundane press conferences. Dr. Grant Colfax makes over $620,000 a year - and has nothing much to show for it.

We have a population of over 840,000 in San Francisco.

Too many are suffering from food security.

Some of us who work hard - have to dip into our savings to help those that need help most.

It is a shame to see the Mayor make over $500,000 and our streets are filthy, addicts everywhere - shootings and killings - and the Mayor is focused on some Ambassadors who are paid a minimum wage - and have to work long hours.

This mockery goes daily - and the SF Board of Supervisors - keeps on rubber-stamping. Doling out millions - without any transparency and accountability.

Only recently, we found out how many SF City workers - were making hay illegally while the sun was shining.

Of course, the SF Controller has woken up from his deep slumber. 

The City Attorney sitting in Room 250 - August Chamber - has been watching the circus, and so has the SF Budget Analyst. 

One makes over $275,000 and the other $150,000 plus - this is how we waste our taxpayers' money with no accountability whatsoever.

Dr. Grant Colfax can do better - stop spending too much time - at ribbon-cutting gimmicks  -  press conferences that have no substance. Again and again - the millions wasted - that come under your purview.  Doing nothing about the mess - do you no good.

Too much blatant corruption at San Francisco General Hospital. The Department of Behavioral Sciences has failed us decent, hardworking San Franciscans. The Behavioral Department is responsible for the fake hubs - attracting thousands of addicts - adversely impacting the Tenderloin. All the while, the head of Behavioral Science, who came here from New York - gets a fat salary - over $550,000 per year. Why do we hire these jackasses who have failed us all?
