The Fifth Estate has been making precise inroads - bloggers - around the world - have their work cut out - as has happened with the Fourth Estate - the purpose of the Fifth Estate must not be compromised.
The internet is a necessary tool - and bandwidth matters - now more than ever. Some progress has been made - but more needs to be done - to arm those with tools to produce - deal with data - and produce information that been filtered - so that decent women and men - can stand tall - and speak Truth to Power.
The pen is mightier than the sword - and may I added - the keyboard must and can produce viable and sustainable progress - sound information that can lead to vetted - education.
This current pandemic - NOVEL COVID-19 virus - has hit us all in the gut.
The Fourth Estate must not fabricate - spin - not tell tales - because the truth be told - the Fourth Estate - has withstood the harsh criticism and attack - by those who cannot stand Truth to Power.
None of us the Fourth Estate nor the Fifth Estate were prepared for the NOVEL COVID-19 virus - an invisible enemy - that we should have been prepared for - spread like - wild fire.
The United States is a Super Power - ever mind who the enemy is - we should have been prepared. The leader who dwells in the White House - always puts himself first - his decision making - is clouded with ego - so big that it cast a dark shadow - on anything he touches.
When thousands died in the hospitals of New York City - we the people were aghast. But more than that stunned and shocked. Today we still cannot come to grip - with the thought in a few weeks - over 100,000 will die - victims to the current pandemic.
The journalists who dared to cover the thousands of deaths in the many hospitals is New York - were shocked, perplexed, and confounded.
Bloggers were first to reveal that Personnel Protection Equipment, lack of respirators, ventilators, swaps, other vital tools to handle thousand the many patients.
Openly the very laws and regulation - created and held tight by the Center of Diseases Control and Prevention - were not followed - Nurses knew well once your gown was soiled it was mandatory to throw it away.
Masks worn had to be discarded by the laid rules and regulations.
For the first time the frontline workers doctors, nurses, medical technicians, janitors - were using their gowns a second, third, and fourth time and more - all the while the man in White House lying that all was well.
The Center of Disease Control and Prevention has yet to apologize for the many adverse impacts created - the lack of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), there gowns used again and again - the masks used again and again and again - were is the justice the fair play.
Do NO harm - the very frontline medical workers - did not follow the rules - not because they could avoid the fact - but because they had NO other alternative.
The ardent bloggers - who took it upon themselves - to stand tall and represent the Fifth Estate - must hold firm and do right. It is not easy - with those in authority - trying to stay in control - and demean, attack, and so anything as we witness - again and again at the White Rose garden - when some cannot handle the Truth.
Here in the United States " blogging " has laid a foundation - competing with Social Media - the likes of Face Book and beating them hands down.
More - when it comes to content - facts - and meaningful information.
Vetted information - soundly filtered information - makes for sound education. Many bloggers have held firm to post well filtered information.
Staying away from misinformation and disinformation - that has crept in our Society by those societies - who do not believe in freedom
There is FREEDOM and there is LICENSE - abuse of FREEDOM is LICENSE.
It is a shame that the United States has committed " Crimes against Humanity " - and Governor Cuomo - has laid it out clearly - how our government were caught napping - and the leadership was poor and continues to be tainted - on many levels.
We must stay away from congregate situations - yet, we have some leaders - wanting to open businesses - more to allow others who are NOT orientated - not educated on issues - failing to stay at home now threatening - spikes and hot spots - prodding the invisible enemy - to do more harm than good - the current raging - pandemic.
In the past we have had proven experiences - with the Spanish Flu for example - right here in San Francisco - first stalled and then when congregate situations were allowed - thousands died - the year 1917.
Such incidents linked with other pandemics happened in other countries.
We have the empirical data - and it is foolish to expose ourselves to congregate situations - just because we cannot stay at home.
That does not mean going out for a reason - to exercise - but being mindful to keep " community distancing ".
The buffoon - an egoistical maniac who makes his abode in the present White House - is a chronic lair. The content of his DNA - is saturated with lies.
For years the man - would change his voice - call people up - and try to market this concepts, ideas, and business projects.
That same man who hoodwink the Main Media - inviting them for his own private press conferences - in downtown Manhattan - he acted as the host - took control of the questions and what he had in mind - evil and ugly.
Again and again the Main Media was taken for a wild ride.
At all of these fake " Press Conferences "- the egoistical maniac - fine tuned his ploys, machinations and shenanigans - to wheel and deal - cheat and steal - lie and deceive - he did that for decades.
Then is 2016 - Lucifer himself ran for office - and now makes his abode in the White House. He did not win the popular vote that counts - he used the Smithsonian Electoral Vote - going back to Feudalism - to win the Elections - all this and more in the United States of America.
Bloggers who align themselves with other Bloggers - can and must maintain decorum - ethics, and standards.
Learn to exercise and discern - conduct sound investigative reporting. Facts count - also know as empirical data.
If we do this - we can get to the meat.
Take sound information - create a fire wall that is difficult to penetrate.
We know the foreign nations that have hacked the Office of Personnel Management and stole millions of documents - belonging to millions of Federal workers.
We know that the Internal Revenue Service has been hacked.
We know that attempts are being made to hack the Pentagon.
We know our banks are hacked and billions stolen.
We know all this and more - the Digital World is here to stay now - and working from home - will become a norm.
The Fourth Estate has been compromised - again and again - and even though some newspapers the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Times, the Washington Post - other newspapers - vie for the right type of information - the print media is slowly dying.

The Fifth Estate has an opportunity to make slow but steady progress - and bring about some semblance - check misinformation and more disinformation.
Expose the many politicians who are corrupt - say one thing and do another. More here in San Francisco - where corruption has reached - saturation point.
Bloggers can quickly take the vetted news and post it the viable and sustainable information - in minutes. I do it all the time - and have had remarkable progress - stunning the demons the likes of the Murdocks and others who share the same philosophy - as devious thugs - calling them the " Mafia " - down playing their role - when it comes to the distribution of " fake news ".
It is amazing how " we the people " have been fooled by some conservative and so called liberal minded folks - who talk with a forked tongue - when it comes to our economy.
Can any Economist truly explain to us why did the Nation's bluff hard working - tax payers - to bail out Bears and Sterns, AIG, Goldman Sachs, banks such us Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi Bank - the other sordid banks - during the spiraling of the economy - in 2008 and 2009?

Then we found out some Universities that have billions to spend - chose to vie for the Stimulus Fund - even the LA Lakers for some reason made a dip for the money and had to return it - the example are many - and those who wrote the legislation - did a poor job,
Then came the second round - and it was more of the same - the same banks Citi Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America - the same banks that cheat us - not long ago - in 2008 and 2009 were in it again.
These cheaters including the politicians - are worse than the NOVEL COVID-19 virus.
Many Seniors receive the Social Security - however the Internal Revenue Service find it difficult to send them their Stimulus Check - it has been 2 month - and most were promised their check $1200 single payer and $2400 for a couple - Waiting For Godot.
