95% of the businesses on Third Street corridor closed and the corridor has NOT recovered ever since.
What is happening today outsiders are received $300,000 grants - mostly Whites - opening restaurant and so many Cafes - why do we need such business run by folks that do not reflect the community at large ?
When the Third Street Light Rail was complete - we were given an operation - the Third Street Light Rail starting at Fourth and King Street - and ending in the middle of no where - by Leyland Street - in Visitation Valley.
This same nonsense is happening with the Central Subway - billions lost in income - small and big business suffered - in and around Union Square, North Beach, and other areas - businesses going out of business - and Edwin Mah Lee - pointing fingers at everyone but himself.

This did not happen with the Third Street Light Rail - and will not happen with the Van Ness Rapid Bus operation - nor will it happen with the Central Subway - which started with a price of $600 million and today has reached $1.8 Billion.
