This Novel COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on most - coupled with " toxic stress " - the poor and those that do not have clout - are left to fend for themselves.
No " needs assessment " has been made to save our Elders - those over 55 years - and for all the talk - San Francisco has No walk when it comes to the above segment of our population.
Many of our Elders have died - and if you die at home - somehow you are not counted as a victim of the Novel COVID-19 pandemic - you have to die in a hospital - and this one fact itself - tell you so much about the bureaucracy - that still exists - even after the egoistical maniac has left the Whites House.
Our laboratories must be resourced to deal with urgent sequencing and this mandates the best equipment - the virus is mutating and defying the microbiologists and others - I have spoken to some - and as things stand - we cannot and must not let our guard down.
Here is San Francisco - we brag and purport to have the best laboratories - but, I do not know who makes this adjudication of sorts - we have hot spots - people congregating and living in filthy conditions - Mayor London Breed - know about it - but does nothing.
We must stop herding those tested positive - and look away from the situation at hand - as if this pandemic will go away. It will not - according to the experts - as long as the world population - has not been vaccinated - we here in the United States are vulnerable.
We saw this in Italy, Brazil, England, India, and even here in New York and Los Angeles in the United States - and we must treat this pandemic - as if there was no tomorrow - on a War Footing.
It is amazing how some - will let down their guard - to celebrate some derby - the horse knows better - and this exploitation - using the sentiment for horses - to further put people in a congregate situation - and start another surge - defies logic.
The lines are growing small - and even though now we have
vaccines - many do not want them -
for reasons best known to them - listening to " fake news "
and paradoxically getting their facts wrong
from Social Media - that has fewer filters - and less fact-checking.
The r-MNA technique has been around - some ten years plus and came at a time -
a perfect storm - and stunned most scientists, medical experts -
with over 80% positive results - in the preliminary tests -
some conducted in many locations all over the world.
Many of us are so used to getting access to what we want - that we fail to give credit to the hard-working scientists - toiling day and night to create these vaccines. These contemporary vaccines are a far cry from the old vaccines using eggs - as some of us know and followed for decades - I did that because at the age of two I was a victim of poliomyelitis - better know as Polio.
Seeing is believing - watching videos of those inflicted by COVID-19 virus - is heart-wrenching - and watching someone die - as one's lungs are threads - and when once sees the lungs - completed destroyed by the virus - it is mind blogging - how, such a virus - could create damage in such a short period.
Prior to the vaccines - thousands died in the hospitals - nothing worked not the ventilators - not the other medications - that help some - but, eventually people died - in the thousands.
We saw this in Italy, in Brazil, in England, in the United States, and now in India.
More and more we understand that as human beings we are all connected.
The disparity - when it comes to vaccines - is so wide - that it baffles the mind. Every day thousands are dying - when such deaths can be avoided - because many Nations - including the United States - is devoid of " empathy ".
Again and again, I mentioned that the previous Administration - committed crimes against humanity - today these same words are used lightly - " crimes against humanity " - were used soon after World War II.
More, at the Nuremberg Trials - and mentioned after the genocide in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, other places and these " crimes against humanity " - are happening in Burma today - in India - in China, all over Central Africa and, more - all over South America - and we think nothing much.
Here in the United States the Food and Drug Agency, the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention - other institutions - have done their best - to stand tall and represent.
More after much harm - and many setbacks - originating from the past Administration - good riddance of very bad rubbish.
There must be another way of looking at crimes against humanity - medical morass and criminal law - marrying and creating one of kind courts - to bring about quick adjudication.
Right now the courts are inundated with legalese much of which has nothing much to do with " empathy " - quantifying suffering - failing to link it to humanity - with less bias and more love and understanding.
I have debated with judges and they come back with legalize -
I have debated with lawyers and the take you for a ride - thinking - that they can always win.
As I have been saying it is about helping, aiding someone, addressing suffering and there are no courts - that have focused on this pandemic - and the many repercussions. Time will tell.
As a philosopher and theologian, I go deep into situations - and that is my forte - I stand tall and represent. It may not be easy - it is vital to my understanding - dealing with humanity - and crimes against humanity.
San Francisco has poor leadership - those in power talk too much - they always want someone else to pay - be it the Federal Emergency Management Agenda, some Federal or State government - they take this route - because in all the wheeling and deal - they can cash on some portion of these deals.
Greed comes first to them - they forget about consideration and empathy. Aho.
