I worked at the Presidio of San Francisco and the Sixth U.S. Army, and the Presidio of San Francisco - awarded me the Commander's Award - the General in charge - General Harrison.
We took care of hot spots more in the Tenderloin and did what we could.
Of course, we did a good job - our soldiers were trained to address the emergency.

The SF Health Department and Urban Alchemy are playing second fiddle to Health Right 360 - getting so many bids on a platter. Many of the recommendations - sole source.
Health Right 360 - they are poised to offer various mundane services.
Never mind that they have no sound permits to operate from the State of California.
Different rules and regulations apply to Laguna Honda - over 700 seniors, most suffering from dementia - have been given eviction notices. Laguna Honda has been decertified - they received some Notice of Violations - and found themselves in trouble when the State found they failed to be in compliance.
The tents at the United Nations Plaza - are surrounded by filth and an unhealthy environment - hundreds of indigent folks - many not wearing a mask.
Hand sanitation is not enforced.
Addicts are handed needles and have their fix for the day - the surroundings unhygienic. The tents display the logo - Health Right 360 in red on a white background.
Who is to say - the SF Health Department and more the SF Health Commission - is sending the wrong message to all San Franciscans.
We know that San Francisco reeks of corruption.
We know some SF Board of Supervisors, the likes of Hillary Ronnen and Ahsha Safai - have no standards - they pander to those that can wheel and deal.
Hillary Ronnen with Lennar Urban - a rogue developer.
Ahsha Safai - flipping homes - owners in dire straits taken advantage of. Time will tell.
