The United States has failed to cater to our citizens - manufacturing many vaccines and, for that matter, the essential medicines we need at home. We import vaccines and drugs from India, China, and Europe.

Pope Francisco apologized to the indigenous people on his last day in Canada. That is the first step - the Catholic Church should now sit down with the indigenous leaders - to bring about healing in a meaningful manner.
