Our children are precious - one must only take some time to talk to them - a little - listen to them more. They cry, you listen - they understand - they feel comfortable - they say their peace.
We must not forget the LatinX children - the many in San Francisco that are suffering the most.
Then Black children - left to survive - survival of the fittest. Others have it better - but all suffer - from Toxic Stress.
Asian and Polynesian children - their parents making them work hard - the pandemic taking heavy toll of their health - they are slow to express themselves - but over time they do well - but traumatized all the same.
Understanding our children - is a herculean task - do not listen to those that purport to know something - when they do not know where their nose is.
We have 11 Districts and in each District we must dedicate one Center or Hub to collect the data - empirical data - so that we can do the sound - " needs assessment ".

I have been listening to the children - more LatinX - they are the ones most suffering - no one cares about them.

They parents try their best to help their children - and most are burnt out. Toxic Stress.
Domestic Violence in on the increase - and the SF BOS have no clue about this one singular factor.
I have interceded and some listen and help - but more will point blank tell you - it is about money.

Adults find it difficult to follow and their attention space is limited - now imagine the children in normal circumstance their attention span a few minutes - and then they blank out.
No one is paying deep considering to the " being " and more to the most important aspect of our being - " spirituality ".

San Francisco has a $13 billion budget - and nothing much to show - but most Departments - begging for money.
I know these politicians each and every one of them.
Few have empathy and compassion.
Most are there to fill their campaign coffers - always begging for money - never, dipping into their own resources to make things - happen.
Much like whores and pimps - they pander to the highest bidder.
We need a hearing on the children - with the children representing and explaining their situation.
The adults listening - including the SF BOS, the Mayor London Breed, and those that purport that know and are screwing us - in broad daylight.
