San Francisco's Treasure Island -
man made and contaminated -
a Superfund Site.
San Francisco's Treasure Island - an artificial island - has over 3000 Toxic and contaminated hot spots - all over the island.
Some of these toxic hotspots - in the back yards - of homes - at SF Treasure Island - that the U.S. Navy has FAILED as part of the required mitigation and abatement - mandated.
On the Island the electricity fails time and time again.
The aged Treatment Plant on the island breaks down - and million of gallons of untreated sewage sent into the Bay.
These issues and others does not faze the Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA) - and the so called TIDA commissioners - with such Commissioners as Linda Richardson - talking from both sides of her mouth.
Recently we met the TIDA Commission and spoke to them - we sounded the clarion call - now, that all of them know what is happening - they all should resign.
If they do not - they call have BLOOD on their hands.
It is simply wrong - to put those most vulnerable - infants, children, youth, young adults, our Elders, those with compromised health - constantly being bombarded and exposed to the worst contaminants, pollution, more radioactive elements registering- very high levels.
Recently a certified and qualified doctor tested patients from Treasure Island - we now have empirical data - and the result are here for all the world to see.
The City and County has the " Precautionary Principle " on its books - yet, not once has it been used on - Hunters Point Naval Shipyard nor on projects undertaken at SF Treasure Island.
Our doctors are now testing patients - and the results are horrific - mind boggling - the City and County of San Francisco - kicking the can down the street.
Time for the Grand Jury to do justice - everything else has failed us - citizens of San Francisco.
There is NO justice and less of fair play - every move it like dealing with the Mafia - and now that the FBI has somehow trapped one of two - or may be ten - the checks and balances are being introduced - at this late date.
