THIS BLACK HISTORY MONTH - THE YEAR 2020 - MOST BLACKS THAT MADE SOMETHING OF THEMSELVES - STILL HAVE NOT ADDRESSED UNITY - THE MANY BLACKS WHO HAVE FALLEN ON BAD TIMES.

about the dire straits of Blacks in San Francisco?

Who will stand tall and represent?

We are deep into Black History Month - we do not have a single Black Leader - worth the salt - who has the guts to speak Truth to Power.

There is no one Black Leader - to make a " needs assessment" of the plight of so many - many Middle Class - who have fallen on bad times. We have pastors and others - still talking the talking - but have failed to walk the walk.

More Blacks -  our Elders are dying on the streets of San Francisco. Many have become so despondent - they have lost their mind.

 Never, ever in the history of this City - San Francisco - have we seen - before our very eyes - the plight of so many Blacks suffering.

Over hundred years old -

removed from her apartment in San Francisco -

Ms Canada - died despondent and in shock. 

There are hundreds of cases like that of Ms Canada -

the corrupt broke into her apartment when

she was in hospital -  stole her documents and 

other valuables - many know about this incident -

we wrote and spoke - and those in power -

more Black - looked the other way - there is a God.

We have a Mayor who is Black - her name is London Breed - we have a City Administrator who is Black - her name is Naomi Kelly, we have a Chief of Police who is Black - his name is William Scott, we have other Blacks who are on the take - some of them pastors - they all should be ashamed of themselves.

What would have Harriett Tubman done -

had she be alive today - 

it is pathetic how Black Leaders behave -

having their priorities wrong  -

no Blacks more Elders have to die on the 

streets of San Francisco - who will stand united -

fight the on going injustice - any takers?

Blacks have been traumatized - and we can go into the details - from the days of Slavery to today. Blacks came to San Francisco and from the early days - contributed to the progress of San Francisco.

I have written about this history - running huge warehouses, bath houses, boarding houses, editing and printing many newspapers as many as twenty plus.

Running a library, running schools, building beautiful churches some are over 150 years old - may I say more.

We had the all Black Buffalo Soldiers who accompanied the Pioneers - few know about these facts - because many are absorbed with Cannabis Clubs, other with Bling, and still others - wheeling and dealing - and steeped in " dark money ".

We have Black leaders today - who are amoral - think about that?

The Blacks who came from the South were God fearing - I met them the early ones and some who are still alive - most do not like what they see - and confide in me.

Captain Charles Young -

qualified to be a General -

he was discriminated but has left a legacy -

learn more about him and others -

who paved the way - only for those -

who can do better - look the other way.

Blacks are proud of Dubois, Frederick Douglas, Mary Pleasant, Captain Charles Young a graduate from West Point - who was deprived the rank of General.

The Warriors are going to play the Sacramento, Kings on Feb 25, 2002 and at 7:3 pm - there will be a moment - titled African American Heritage Night.

Come out to cheer our Warriors and Kings - and join hundreds - who do something special to honor Blacks and what they stand for - their contribution to the best Blacks can offer - since time immemorial. If you see me - come and visit me - let us unite and make good things happen. 

Here is San Francisco we have 500 all Black - Buffalo Soldiers interred at the Veterans' Cemetery at the SF Presidio of San Francisco. 

We have the 100 series brick building associated with the Buffalo Soldiers - others buildings all over the SF Presidio of San Francisco. Yet, we do not have anything much mentioned - no monument - no importance given to the Buffalo Soldiers.

Much before the National Park was formed in 1916 - the same lands were called Federal Lands - and the Buffalo Soldiers - patrolled the lands - now known as Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.


As I said and have been saying Blacks contributed a lot - but if you interested more in Bling - and keep singing the blues - paying no intention to Black history - you will miss the boat, the bus, the train and the plane.

Wake up time is running out.

Dr Martin Luther King Jr.,

what would he say to us all -

so many Blacks living in tents -

facing the inclement weathers - dying - 

left in the morgue - and then no one knows what happens.

You ask for information - and those in power -

say - State laws prohibit giving sensitive information  -

the state of the art morgue - brand new - 

built by Cargo Way - by Hunters Point - Go figure!

All over San Francisco - we have street names - named after famous Blacks - this and more should make us - stand tall and represent.

It is pathetic - how we in toto fail to help those that most need help.

This fake concept of building Navigation Centers - where one can take their pets who are unkempt and are free to do as they please - defies - law and order. Hygiene.

Much like the SF politicians who have become lawless and in recent days their nefarious activities exposed for all the world to see.  

One can go to SF City Hall - during Public Comment - you are given a measly two minutes - you say your peace - while the SF Board of Supervisors - and not paying attention - having side bars - and all this and more will change - when some one goes to jail - sooner not latter.

In our Public schools in San Francisco Black children are treated with disdain.

Some of us tried our best - but the Superintendent who is Black and many other on the SF Unified School District Board - listen to those who plead for justice and fair play - and no one cares - the Board gives a deft ear.

We all know the role of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency that Governor Jerry Brown chose to deactivate.

An  agency that treated many Blacks who had homes - unjustly.

Victorian homes were taken away from Blacks - under the pretext that the SF Redevelopment Agency declared entire areas as blight - few know about this history - and those that know some - do not pay attention - to the many atrocities committed - we must stand united and fight for what is right.

Many Black were given vouchers - and promised some - many died in dire straits - living in Single Residency Occupancy (SRO) hotels and motels.

Many took to drinking heavily, others on heroin,  and more.

We  look away from those actions that many endured through no fault of theirs -  today  - blacks who are on the Commission - of the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure - kick the can down the street. Truly having No empathy nor compassion. Go figure!

First there was the SF Redevelopment Agency, then the agency was named the Successor Agency to the SF Redevelopment Agency, and to the fancy name - Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure - same snake different head.

Every Black History month - no one speaks Truth to Power.

No one addresses the plight of Blacks - they dance and sing and pretend they know Kiswahili - much of what they do - is organized by sell out like Al Williams - who has NO clue about the plight of Blacks - and has always made money - wheeling and dealing.
