Much has been made of the The American Health Act of 2017 - also better known at Obama Care.
Today we have over 280 million folks - in the United States - all adversely impacted - many slowly dying - without Health Care - and who really is responsible for this callousness ?.
Those most impacted the mentally and physically challenged - our beloved Elders - in their Golden Age - suffering until they close their eyes and go to the other side.
God sees it all. However who will speak Truth to Power?
Two promises made one allowing one to keep one's own doctor and secondly keeping the premiums under control - both have not been addressed - and the premiums have skyrocketed.
President Barack Hussein Obama - and those minions aiding and abetting - pulled some wool over our eyes. We now know - better - how one that talk the talk - but not really walk the walk.
Perhaps the only meaningful aspect that must be noted - linked to benefits - is that The American Health Act of 2017 and some amendment made in 2019 - allow pre-existing conditions and those patients needing extensive and costly care intact.
This mercy shown to the most vulnerable must be noted as I said - but there is more to Health Care - preventative care - emergency care - costing an arm and a leg - the cost of medicines exorbitant - States near Canada - can travel a few miles and get their medicines for half the price.
Paradoxically - Obama Care tried to keep things under control by trying to fine anyone who did not enroll in Obama Care - and many did not.
How can this problem been resolved - is not known.
As we see - today we have over 28 million people - trying to make a living - have NO health care services at all.
Here in San Francisco - our SF Board of Supervisors and our inept, shallow, weak in the knees Mayor London Breed - has NO clue what is happening to many San Franciscans.
The influx of outsiders - in the thousands - more addicts who are on meth and Opioids. These addicts are now found in our neighborhoods - strung on drugs - meth, heroine, cocaine, opioids - God alone knows what - compromising Quality of Life issues.
Car break-in, home break-ins, stealing cycles, stealing whatever they can from stores - Walgreens and more - causing so many problems - no one know what they will encounter once the step outside their homes - in San Francisco.
Assaults on the increase - and the lives of our Elders and children put in jeopardy - parents worried about they children - women harassed in board daylight - and beggars ask for $10 and more and if you say NO - you get abused. Really !
Our SF Health Department has a budget of over $2 Billion - and has received several Notices of Violation (NOVs) - these serious citations are NOT discussed too much - because if one does - a can of worse will be open.
Most of the NOVs are linked to standards not attained and maintained. This is happening at SF General Hospital, Laguna Honda - the other clinics that are now given the necessary funds to operated - more those pharmacies and clinics that cared for the most poor and needy.
San Francisco has lost her soul - the Mayor London Breed has no concept how to lead and more how to maintain law and order.

Our jails are filled with mostly Blacks - over 50% - others too but Blacks happen to be the most.
We know Blacks need the help most - but this Black Mayor - paid over $366, 000 a year - has failed us on all levels.
She opens that mouth - barking up the wrong tree - talking the talk but NO - walk.

The SF General Hospital -
where I spent some time interviewing
many - while taking care of some close to me -
the situation at hand is precarious -
nurses, doctors, social workers, case managers -
others - all burned out - and NO one seems to care.
I spent some time at the SF General Hospital - not so much as a patient but nursing a relative - and learned more from talking to the nurses, doctors, the social workers, the case managers, the technicians and others that matter - to the best operation and upkeep of the SF General Hospital - where standards are compromised.
The SF General Hospital has a primitive software that was in use - failing to provide quick and complete health charts and other pertinent information - when any computer was accessed to.
A new software is being used now - and was supposed to be in place in August 2019 - fully operational.
It is still being tweaked - and recently - someone made a mistake - and thousands of patients and their sensitive information - was released by mistake.
We all are aware of many of the key Registered Nurses getting burned out - our well respected front line workers - and beloved nurses.
Doctors put in harm way - working long hours and not given the respect they need.
The same with Social Workers given too many patients to deal with, other key Health Workers - treated with disdain and the ratio of patients increased - leading as I said to many leaving - more stressed out , burned out , and many totally - despondent.
Added to the above are many cases of patients being double billed.
All sorts of notices sent - the Management of the SF General Hospital and that of University of California San Francisco - who are embedded in the failing system - lacking transparency and accountability - a training ground in a very hostile environment.
Too many mistakes made - recently tempers flaring.
I have seen this in person - and tired to sit down with some and cool them down.
Telling them we appreciate their work and more love them - they may not hear it all the time - but some one has to represent and speak Truth to Power. Serving the patients is not something easy to do - more the patients that are traumatized and others in deep pain and despondent.
At the most anyone going into into any situations stated above can do is being educated on issues.
Openly sharing sharing and caring - making good things happen. Helping those who give so much - supporting them and encouraging them.
I made so many friends that even today I get calls - and hear the nurses and technicians - and I have seen some at SF City Hall - speak Truth to Power.
I had the pleasure of interviewing many nurses from other places the Philippines, Australia, India, Scandinavian countries, some places in Africa like Nigeria, Ghana, Somalia and learned a lot.
As I mentioned above - pre-existing cases get the best help and benefits - linked to Obama Care.
The plan was to charge those between 21 years to 40 years - and with the premiums collected from this group - hay made while the sun was shining. It did not work - and cost over $35 billion.
The entire system - known as the American Health Act 2017 and amendments made in 2019 - will term out in 2020.
The current administration - is looking forward to bring in and focus more on real benefits.
Much like Medicare that has been doing well - Senior Advantage offered by Health Maintenance Organization like Kaiser, Blue Shield and others - giving good care to Seniors.
The Democrats as usual are looking at concepts, ideas, shallow models that have not been vetted - they hoodwinked us once - once bitten twice shy.
I personally am lucky to have had a doctor since 1980 and belong to Kaiser - pay into the Senior Advantage system - having worked for the United States Federal Government - and beside the high premiums - I am charged - I pay more to Medicare directly.
You have to pay into a system - or choose another that has not been vetted and take a risk. So far I am paying a lot - but more taking care of my health - on a priority bases - I do not like to stay in a hospital - I have seen too much of that scene and understand the repercussions of poor health.
The base-line health services work in my case - more, because I eat right, exercise, and am sure I take my blood tests, pressure, other pertinent tests - my flu shots and other required shots - in time.
I often meet Seniors that want " wrap around services - more those that suffer from dementia, heart problems, respiratory diseases, arthritis and so on.
Many seek to enter institutions that offer Senior Care Living - paying at much at $7000 to $10,000 a month.
The Federal Government offers a plan too - and the premiums are reasonable - but when it comes to the Market Place - you have to pay a arm and a leg.
The above explanation is given to get to a point - those that are poor also termed " indigent " - these Seniors get nothing at all .
Many cannot get to the hospital - their precarious condition requires transportation - like an ambulance that they cannot afford - these amenities are lacking in San Francisco - for all the talk - Mayor London Breed - barking up the wrong tree.
Seniors who have fallen prey to sub-astute care and now shipped out of State - and slowly die - because it is difficult for relatives and friends to visit them.
Others from San Francisco are shipped to - far off place like Sacramento - where the " hot climate ' and again the lack of family visits - make their health condition - worse.
The demographics are there for all the world to see - but our Representatives - some of them jail birds - spend more time and energy - and favor Cannabis Clubs.
Waste their energy on JUL and such ploys and machinations.
Focus on closing the Juvenile Center ( because at one time one for sure made his bed in the Juvenile - where he acted funny and they beat the shit out of him). He gets his flash back - and will until he has a change of heart.
We are monitoring him like a H A W K .
Nationwide we have some entities pretending to curtail soft drinks, tobacco products, but not alcohol products.
Diverting our energy towards something that needs attention - b HEALTH CARE needs more - and thousands are slowly dying - and those in authority - looking the other way.
The Navigation Centers - each cost a lot millions - and most Navigation Centers are filthy.
Those using the Navigation Centers - people unkempt can stay for six months and then back on the streets of San Francisco.
Those who go the Navigation Centers take their dogs and cats - and all this is good - in a setting where everyone abides by standards, revere hygiene - and clean up after themselves.
It is a shame that the Navigation Centers - again favor a few - and not those that need detail and experts - who can offer sound and much needed - " wrap around services ".
The many homeless camps - that were formed - housing the homeless - had their own mentoring.
Even others - not addicts - volunteering to help the needy - that no one took care nor cared to learn more. These volunteers have been doing a good job - and did not go on the roof tops and shout what they did and what has to be done - they took care of the situation.
The City and County has let them down - and this and more will come to haunt those - that make money off the back of the poor, the indigent, those addicts that are NOT treated like human beings.
Those ordered to do the clean up - came in - many a time in the wee morning - when most are fast asleep - broke down the camps and destroyed the camps.
Dumped the clothes and other belongings of the campers - the poor and the indigent - into the dumpster.
Made a mockery of the poor and indigent - those in authority and more Mayor London Breed - has BLOOD on her hands.
One of the worst areas - is District 10 - I visited some areas - where the poor - living in cars and in tents - afraid that their camps will be targeted one of these days.
Others under our freeway - jurisdiction of the State of California - Calrans - invaded by the City and County of San Francisco - the camps broken out and taken away.
The poor and the sick - more elders - marched to jail - where they linger - without medications - the medication that have been dumped into the dumpster. This is callous to say the least - and some one must investigate the situation at hand.
In the interim - other States - give some folks from their State one year's rent and more money - to leave their State and to anywhere they want to.
Many opt to come to San Francisco - where the climate is temperate and many services are available - free of charge.
This loop hole is well known - and must be addressed with empathy and compassion.
However no one should take advantage of our hospitality, caring, and service - and abuse the system and cause irreparable damaging to the many organization that did not see such a deluge of addicts heading to our City named after Saint Francis of Assisi.
They dump their needy on us - and no one seems to notice this traffic - that has caused its own congestion of sorts - back to back addicts - seeking aid - while all the time having money - to take care of their habit.
Others more outsiders - come to San Francisco - are offered programs that state they can get off drugs - and offered some money - by nefarious entities outside California.
The ones falling into the trap - linked to the programs making money - off those they experiment on - guinea pigs.
The Non-Profits and other pretending to help the addicts - know about these ploys, shenanigans, and machinations - but all of them give a rat's ass.
The result few care about " humanity " - all the authorities care is about money - millions of dollars given to run "pit stops " - open space where Recreational Vehicles are parked and charged.
Pretending to run Navigation Centers - one such entity went by the name Girls 2000, Hunters Point Family. Now has a new fancy name - same snake different head.
An audit done - by the SF Controller's Office - reveals many nefarious activities and discrepancies - with the above mentioned entity.
Today the Director has a new name - and a new " modus operandi " - she once worked for Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr. - was a Point Person approaching Catellus and Swinerton - for large sums of money - now, making hay while the sun shines - backed by Mayor London Breed. Time will tell.
A better more beneficial Health Care System - must focus on benefits - much like Medicare - Medicare can be tweaked a little but by greater measure it has passed its - " smelt test ".
The time has come to curtail the profits done by the Health Insurance Companies and Pharmaceutical Companies - one of them McKesson - who headquarters until recently was on Market Street and Montgomery Street - where the office of Senator Diane Feinstein is - they are partners in crime.
McKesson distributed drugs - all sorts of drugs - including OPIOIDS.
Few in San Francisco know the billions in profits this one company made - all these decades - and is now being charged and will be fined by the authorities in charge.
All over San Francisco - the Opioids - pandemic has spread like wild fire - and no one really - seems to care.
I spoke at one meeting - at SF City Hall - the Chair seemed concerned - he is a Supervisor who has his heart in the right place - I heard many others speak - many do not truly know the root of the problems.
Mayor London Breed is a loud mouth - shallow, weak in the knees, inept - and has NO leadership qualities.
She is a thug and loves to shout and scream.
London Breed thinks she can take on some entities on - like those that oppose the Navigation Center on the Embarcadero by the Ferry Building.
Time will tell.
She will fall flat on her face - and then the Heifer can roll over - and scream Resiliency and Equity For All - the cries will go unnoticed - and she will fade into oblivion.
