Over time, HAMAS took over every aspect of Gaza.

Truth be told, at the time, Hamas was operating its charity work - the State of Israel was funding Hamas - with an ulterior motive to weaken the Palestinian Liberation Organization. 

Today, Hamas controls every aspect of the governance of Gaza.

It must be made evident Israel does not control GAZA - it can invade GAZA because in a previous war with Egypt, which Israel won - Israel decided to permit the Palestinians to live in Gaza. The same in the West Bank.

By September 22, 2005, Israel withdrew from the entire Gaza Strip to the 1967 Green Line.

The eviction of four settlements in Samaria was complete - in 2007. In June 2007, Hamas took over the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian authority.

When asked, most Palestinians tolerate Hamas - they also tolerate Fatah - formerly the Palestinian National Liberation Movement - known as a nationalist and social democratic political party.

The Palestinian National Liberation Movement - is the largest faction of the Confederated multi-party - Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). 

In the 2006 election for the Palestinian Legislative Council - the party lost its majority in the PLC to Hamas.

The Hamas legislative victory led to a conflict between Fatah and Hamas, with Fatah retaining control of the Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank - through its President.

Fatah is also active in the control of Palestinian refugee camps.

As far as we know - these mostly autocrats do not give a damn about serving the people that matter - who pay their taxes - and get nothing in return.

Restricting traffic on our freeway - making changes to the traffic - sending a person miles away from the standard route one takes.
