Few remember this janitor who had a great smile - for years, I would stand by the Ferry Building to board a MUNI bus - that took us to the Presidio of San Francisco. This man was there at 5 am - ready to greet everyone - while executing his duties.
We all remember a Black man from the SF Port Authority, a good friend of mine - who retired after many years - as many as 40 years plus. He lives in the Visitation Valley in San Francisco.
The Black Commissioners - two of them - on the SF Port Commission talk a good talk. Having failed San Franciscans - as sellouts their desire to be Commissioners - is for some ill fame.
