San Francisco brags that it has 76% of the population vaccinated. In contrast, the Bayview Hunters Point has a surge of the Delta Variant - the push to vaccinate Blacks has been lethargic - the District Supervisor Shamann Walton - has done an inferior job.
No one really knows how many constituents are fully vaccinated in San Francisco.
Fully vaccinated meaning - taking the full dose one or two - depending on the kind of vaccine. Staying - healthy - for two more weeks after the second dose - as in the case of the Moderna Vaccine. The single dose of the Pfizer vaccination does the job.
The politicians have used Vaccinations and how they are delivered as a ploy to make some money - and while some may think - this will go unnoticed.
We know entities like Young Community Developers, some Faith-Based organizations fail us all when delivering quality service.
It means nothing - if you dole out T-shirts with your logo - when you do not do your work. Glossy Flyers with your organization's name - saying you do this and that - but the way you do it is shabby.
I know what I am talking about as I saw - Young Community Developers - act as if they are in charge - of the places - where vaccinations were administered - doing no quality outreach - for the simple reason - Young Community Developers - are not respected in the community.
From the inception - when vaccines were available - there has been a flaw - in quality outreach.
How those who wanted to be vaccinated are treated - starting with links sent to people who could not open their links - and that frustration - led to many holding back and not taking their vaccinations.
Some of us had to come forward - and because we had access to many that we knew - we brought large groups - and got them vaccinated - but we also treated them well - went out of our way - at our own expense - to make a difference.
Some Faith-Based organizations tried their hand to help in the administration of vaccinations and failed miserably. It has become fashionable for some Black Faith-Based organizations to jump into action - without having the needed personal power and expertise - to do a good job.
On their education, a sad reflection- how they communicate, interpersonal relationships - more, having empathy for those in dire straits.
The mostly Black Faith-Based organization failed when it came to administering vaccinations - in San Francisco.
The most incompetent - Western Addition in San Francisco - Third Baptist Church - from which edicts were sent to do this and that - and most of the messaging was despicable - to say the least.
Thousands in San Francisco were afraid that they may die - many were willing to make a sacrifice and wait in line - to get their vaccinations.
Some days - thousands waited in line - only to be told after waiting for - four, five, six hours - that they ran out of vaccines.
Someone had to study the situation at hand - and some of us - took it upon ourselves to uplift others.
When all the workers from Soo Fong Restaurant - got their vaccinations - Alvin Wu had a smile on his face - like a good leader and owner - he took care of his family and those who worked at the restaurant.
When Sean from Celtic Glass - agreed to vaccinate his entire family and workers - he was a happy camper. We could give you more examples - but suffice to say - we stepped in and did what we could and did it well.
Quality outreach does not come easy - from time to time - true Americans roll up their selves and make it happen.
When corrupt politicians look for opportunities to make money at the expense of the people. More the people in dire straits - all hell breaks loose.
Backing organizations and operations that could not offer quality services -SF Mayor London Breed - who herself shamed her office - attending dinner at the infamous French Laundry Restaurant - took her time to apologize for her sordid behavior.
Imagine - asking us to follow her mandates to wear a mask and stay at home - then breaking the rules - herself.
Typical of someone who still embraces the hood - brag about it - London Breed has no manners and less etiquette. For sure, she does not command any respect - among those that have standards.
It is the same for District 10 Supervisor Shamann Walton - talking too much - and making a fool of himself.
Recently he was at some drab Press Conference - standing at the Southeast Vaccination Hub - desolate - and stating people do not want to get vaccinated.
The hub is situated in a desolate area. Seniors and others have difficulty walking to the hub.
The mud road - making it more difficult - for those challenged. Feces and the smell of ruin - where the homeless and others take the liberty to relieve themselves - permeates the area.
Shamann Walton is a joke - how could anyone place a vaccination hub - at such a location?
He did it to earn some browny points. Even though the hub was open - in an entire week recently - only one person went to get the vaccination.
Bayview Hunters Point in San Francisco - has the highest number of new cases - and this surge linked to the Delta Variant - is getting worse - every day.
Shamann Walton - must ask himself what has he and his office done - when it comes to quality outreach?
What did he do - to correct the many " vaccination links " that did not work - frustrating the constituents of San Francisco and the Bayview Hunters Point in particular?
Again and again - we see Shamann Walton gravitate to situations - where he can make money - much like - Dwayne Jones, Derf Butler, Derrick Smith, DionJay Brookter, Malia Cohen, and others too many to mention.
Never saw the idiot Shamann Walton and the other lackeys - while we took to the streets and spoke Truth to Power. Who are these scumbags coming into our community - and messing things up?
Dwayne Jones, purveyor Philanthropist - using taxpayer's money -Community Benefits - in the millions misspent - purports to be the gatekeeper of the Bayview Hunters Point too - a scumbag - corrupt to the core and a disgrace to the human race.
There is a dark cloud hanging above the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. Millions of dollars missing - and one Dwayne Jones, a good friend of Shamann Walton - have failed the community - the Bayview Hunters Point community.
Life is for the living - not the living dead.
We cannot take others to a better place - if our heart is not in the right place.
Each of us has a moral compass - we know what is right and what is wrong - we must speak Truth to Power.
Again, when it comes to our health and welfare - together, we must uplift each other - wear the MASK at all times - until we neutralize the very defiant variant - the Delta Variant. Aho.
