This glacier Mount Lyell - feeds into
the Tuolumne River - as the years go by -
the once dense snow cap is no more to be seen.
Some of the SF Supervisors will leave and new ones will come - when the new ones come - the majority will be men.
I hope the males - will have the balls - to address the real issues - and make good stuff -happen. Not follow the nonsense that was perpetuated by wagging their tongue - ad neuseeam - by the old SF Board of Supervisors.
We once had some decency - some decorum - all that and more has been nullified - two professional political whores - one Malia Cohen and the other London Breed - have tarnished the name of the SF Board of Supervisors.
No one in their right mind - today respects the SF Board of Supervisors.
Yesterday, I was at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission - and I was glad - the advocates were there to speak Truth to Power.
Some week ago the SF Board of Supervisors - the SF Board of Supervisors agreed to abide by the better more empirical tested data - regarding our rivers in Northern California - and more the Tuolumne with its source in a perpetual glacier on a 13,000 feet high Mount Lyell, drains 652 square of water shed.
A recent photograph of Mount Lyell
Mount Lyell is actually a glacier - and recent satellite photographs - predict that in less than 5 years - the snow on this glacier - will drastically diminish - impeding the required run off into the Tuolumne River. The Salmon require the added fresh, clean water to nourish themselves and spawn - and more.
Every year - the river is slowly drying up - adversely impacting the Tuolumne River of course - the Salmon now have little fresh water running in the river - and we human must remember - the Salmon is our life - and has been for thousands of years.
Much as water is life.
Once there was a ceremony - for miles on either side of the river - fires were lit - welcoming the Salmon - the ancestors knew better - that wisdom of respect for life - has diminished - and it is a shame - that some entities like the SF Public Utilities have lost their mind.
Instead of help to restore some normalcy and aid the Salmon - they SF Public Utilities has confronted and keeps confronting the California Water Resources Control Board.
Astute and stellar scientists - working for the California Water Resources Control Board - and other entities - advocates and organizations that are vested in our Northern California Rivers - including the Tuolumne and in all cases the welfare of the diminishing - Salmon.
The California Water Resources Board - have come out with models - that have been tested and vetted - and encouraged stakeholders and parties involved in the Water Management of the Northern California rivers - who have the best interest of life and the Salmon - to come to some meaningful consensus.
Initially the SF Board of approved the language - and sided with the wisdom of the California Water Resource Control Board.
A few weeks latter encouraged my Mayor London Breed the SF Board of Supervisors - reneged and this behavior is totally uncalled for - a slap on the face of decency - and the hard work of decent advocates - more environmentalists such as myself.

Here is the crux of the issue - The California Water Resource Control Board - has consulted best minds - using best practices - and come out with some guidelines - and models - that best addresses the issue at hand.
The health of the Norther California Rivers and the welfare and best practices to keep our Salmon returning year after year to spawn in the rivers.
The SF Public Utilities Commission - failing as it has on all pertinent and salient issues - today in its arrogance has decided to confront the California Water Resource Control Board.
Today a meeting will be held in Sacramento - to address the state of affairs - facing our Northern California rivers - the lack of fresh clean running water - in our rivers - and the adverse impact on our Salmon - year after year after year.
Those in the know say - some agreement has been reached - by the California Water Resources Control Board - with those entities that have chosen to work with the California Water Resources Board.
525 Golden Gate Avenue -
the headquarters of the SF Public Utilities Commission -
every year the SFPUC keeps failing
the public at large - shame on them -
2300 employees and very poor leadership
on all levels.
As far as the SF Public Utilities Commission is concerned - they have been kept out - by the California Water Resources Control Board - and brought this on themselves.
I doubt even if the SFPUC or some of our SF Board of Supervisors dare to go for the meeting - to be held in Sacramento - they will be recognized or permitted to express themselves.
Our SF Board of Supervisors are competing with each other - running their mouth - trying to change how recycling is done, amending rules and regulation linked to small businesses, have failed San Francisco when it comes to congestion and the increase of the Carbon Foot Print in San Francisco.
Homelessness is our number one problem - and going hand in glove with that issue - are very high rents.
In the last 5 years - experts say over 150,000 families have left San Francisco - never, ever to return again.
Our population is about 830,000 that increase to over a million and half - people coming to work - attending conventions, thousands attending baseball games and so on.
Non-Profit that matter, small businesses that matter - so called Pop and Mom stores - do not matter to the SF Board of Supervisors.
You just cannot wake up after a long period of stagnation - and decided the City and County of San Francisco - will speed up the permits - to run businesses.
What about acquiring the space, what about traffic to bring people to visit one's store or office, what about the high rents and the salaries that those who want to work in the stores - they all want to be compensated.
The SF Board of Supervisor who come up with such ideas - are stupid to the core - they do not have a viable and sustainable plan - and more love ordering people around.
This is Ohlone land - the Ohlone were here for over 15,000 years - the land, the air, the water, the watershed was pristine.
In less than 150 years - the strangers - have contaminated the land, the air, the water - and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Our SF Board of Supervisors are dumber than dumb. In recent months the " lame duck " SF Board of Supervisors - have lost their mind.
Patting their behind - and wagging that tongue that has no bone. Go figure!
