When people cast their eyes upon the chaotic scene that unfolds in front of SF City Hall—the scene you see above—they are left to ponder what has become of our beloved San Francisco.
We all recall 1996, when Da Mayor issued a challenge to us all, promising to enhance the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority (MTA) and ensure our MUNI buses operated seamlessly.
However, these promises, like leaves scattered by the wind, were left unfulfilled, leaving us disappointed.
He said within 100 days—and we have forgotten all that and more—the many things Da Mayor executed, including hiring 2000 Executive Administrative positions—London Breed, Malia Cohen, and even Naomi Kelly.
Gavin Newsom took over and tried to help the homeless with some far left-field model - care, not cash - that model failed miserably, offering them $59 and a roof over their head.
Then came Ed Mah Lee—corrupt and did nothing much—except when he passed away, Mark Farrell came along, who already had been called in by the Ethics Commission for campaign finance violations. He had to pay a fine to the Ethics Commission—and did so—$25,000.
For all the talk, Mayor London Breed has taken San Francisco down the drain.
Created - a cesspool of her own creation - and judging from the current state of affairs, she will fail to do well in the sordid Rank Voting System that San Francisco embraces.

No one should be sleeping in tents or under any bush and facing the inclement weather. There is no empathy.
The candidates each have ulterior motives—one tried to steal land to build a house, another has issues with alcohol, and yet another was indicted by the SF Ethics Commission.
The majority of the candidates are selfish.
We have 11 unique districts in San Francisco, and most of them were built by good people - most of them have left San Francisco.
We have 10 Precincts and should have an SF Police force of 2000—right now, it stands at 900.
We have many incompetent department heads and must reduce the number of Commissions—they are a waste of money and a nuisance to the San Francisco community.
Too many outside Developers are wheeling and dealing, failing to provide jobs to San Franciscans.
All this and more require the ability to do a needs assessment and have a plan with timelines that are viable and sustainable goals.

The last independent one - was Bill Lee.
In 1996, the then-Mayor Willie L. Brown used our Charter to bring the SF City Administrator under the SF Mayor's office, neutralizing the once independent office with some clout.
I know Carmen Chu, and she knows me - she is a hard worker.
However, it is practically impossible for anyone to manage so many departments—most dysfunctional and corrupt—without going overboard.
I called her office some weeks ago and requested an appointment to speak to Carmen Chu.
I talked to someone in her office, and she promised to get back to me - this did not happen.
I wanted to talk to her about the Contract Monitoring Division and the many dubious and convoluted things happening there.
Developers and Primes are having a field day, while our folks who need jobs are not given opportunities.

The mess was so evident, and with the many in-your-face atrocities, everyone knew that Dwayne Jones was NOT the gatekeeper of the Bayview Hunters Point - he anointed himself.
The SF Controller, Ben Rosenfield, handled many complaints and has since retired. The complaints were taken to Dennis Herrera, the City Attorney.
Paradoxically, the General Manager of the SF Public Utilities Commission today - where millions went unaccounted for is now handled by Dennis Herrera, who makes over $500,000 a year.
The feds came in at some time - and the rest is history.
Only the Feds can trace the money and bring down anyone who is a crook.
Those Black who have disgraced their name and are still working for the SF City and County of San Francisco must remember what happened to Harlan Kelly, Naomi Kelly, Juliet Ellis, and Dwayne Jones - and what will happen to some forty more - singing the blues.

No empathy is left in the City named after Saint Francisco of Assisi.

Try calling any city department to speak to the head of the department and see what happens.
The last five Mayors in San Francisco have steadily contributed to the degradation of our once beautiful and well-loved City and County of San Francisco.
