IN TWO MONTHS - THE INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE - WILL BE HELD IN GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - THE CURRENT BIODIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IS BEING HELD IN CHINA - KUNMING.

 

The United Nations Biodiversity Conference - also known as COPS-15 - was held in Kunming, China.

We, humans, have not treated Mother Earth with the utmost respect it deserves. Right now, there is an International Biodiversity Conference in Kunming, China - also known as COPS15.

We hear a lot about the impending International Climate Change Conference to be held two months from now - in Glasgow, Scotland.

Not a whimper about the Biodiversity International Conference - held in Kunming, China - by the United States Main Media - typical response by those who pretend they know some - but are not educated on issues in reality.

China has made many strides when it comes to Clean Energy - and hosting the recent International Biodiversity Conference - in Kunming, China - showing progress made by increasing the Panda population, Asian Elephants, other species - revealed how far China has come - it does want to make a difference.

China, with a population of over one and half billion - is a force to reckoned with - our Earth's resources and limited - millions of species have disappeared - the list of endangered species is growing - and homo sapiens - has now to answer what has she and he done - more in the last 300 years?.  

President Xi PingChing of China has contributed $230 million, and this gesture - in the right direction.

There is a big difference in understanding Biodiversity - and the connection to Climate Change - that goes hand in hand.

Even as these two pertinent and critical factors are being considered on the International Level - we who comprehend the details - must monitor the Carbon Footprint, the key nations that have not curtailed their Carbon Footprint - they talk the talk but fail to the walk.

Clean Energy can curtail the carbon footprint - every nation must work in sequence and united to help Mother Earth - the United States, for all its talk has faltered - time is running out - Germany has done well - and other nations must pay heed. 

These wind engines in California help some - considering the population of the United States some 340 million - and vast land expense - the United States can do better - hopefully, the current bickering linked the budget will stop - the Infrastructure Bill passed - and America will fulfill its international and national obligations. 

This German clean energy farm - should aspire, architects and engineers, artists, planners, energy companies - and those who desire and embrace Mother Earth to bring some semblance to our Earth - reducing the Carbon Footprint, PM 2.5, lead, mercury, and the many pollutants that slowly kill our infants, children, youth, young adults, our beloved Elders, those with compromised health - more our physically and mentally challenged.

I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and when I was young, I traveled all over Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Later on, India, Nepal, Tibet, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran.

Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Scandanavians nations, and France.

The Middle East - now in recent years Australia, New Zealand, and all over the United States - Hawaii and Alaska - seeing is believing - and what I have seen is a far cry from what the world was when I was a young person.

Millions of one of a king species are gone - disappeared. 

When I was young - I first went into any area - and looked for frogs - they gave me a sense of what was around and more if the land was healthy.

As I mentioned - the list of birds, insects, animals, fish - flora, and fauna put on the "endangered list " is growing.

Human beings to think - out of sight is out of mind - and this mentality will take us nowhere.

Large corporations keep on polluting the air, the water, the land - and those who protect them - mostly our Courts in the United States should be ashamed of themselves. 

Today's youth cannot be fooled - and will not tolerate nonsense - there is the sense linked to good, and there is nonsense.

Talk is cheap - what counts at all times are goals with timelines - and good actions.

Wetlands have been drained and contaminated the surrounding land in Europe - once the damage happens - the mortality of the fish, insects, birds, and other life - diminishes - soon put on the endangered list.

America, once known as Turtle Island - was known the world over - as a bountiful land.

Then came the White folks who suffer from inferiority complex - took all they wanted and more. Greedy - jerks.

In less than 200 years - these scumbags have caused so much damage - and now talk in circles.

Let us look forward to the Glasgow, Scotland International  Climate Conference - in two months.

Hopefully - all goes well - the last time around, an egotistical maniac Donald Trump - screwed us all set us back 5 years. 

Unfortunately, the jackass happened to be the President of the United States.
