San Francisco used to be PROGRESSIVE no more - we once had a working Sunshine Task Force - it is dead.
We once had a sound SF Ethics Commission - it is stalled.
We have a dysfunctional SF Police Commission - that has failed us all - decent, hard working, ethical San Franciscans.
Dereliction of duty - polices that should have been in place - are moving at a snail pace - at the very corrupt SF Police Commission.
San Franciscans are fed up - the ploys, machinations, and shenanigans - prevailing at the SF Police Commission - have reached saturation point.
The June 1, 2020 Rules Committee - has hundreds of callers - against the anointing to two candidates Nancy Tung and Geoffrey Gordon -Creed.
Right now we have a dysfunctional SF Police Commission - and the time has come to revamp the entire SF Police Commission - it has failed on all levels - to serve the public - decent hardworking San Franciscans - tax payers.
Where do they find such pathetic jackasses ?
Why is San Francisco pandering to outside jerks - who do not have the best interests of San Franciscans?

Ms Dimali Taylor -
never saw her in the trenches -
never saw her at a single SF Police Commission meeting -
before she was appointed to the SF Police Commission -
has NO clue about the rampant prevailing discrimination -
adverse impacts to our Elders, infants, children,
youth, those with compromised health - more
our mentally and physically challenged. Pathetic.
Some time ago two candidates were anointed to the SF Police Commission Ms Dimali Taylor and DionJay Brookter - one worse than the other.
The names were put forward - by Mayor London Breed - I happened to be at the Rules Commission - and spoke against both candidates - once worse than the other.
The reason both candidates - did not pay their dues - address the many deaths at the hands of some rogue SF Police Officers. And now we were to accept two candidates - who would be placed on the SF Police Commission - and all they do now - is rubber stamp. Political stooges.
Recently I watched the SF Police Commission talk about some policies they have been working on for the last 4 years - and making NO progress - " cultural competency " goes hand in hand with " implicit bias ".
Again and again there is talk about the recommendations linked to the Department of Justice (DoJ).
Well it is a private body called Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).
Today COPS is dead - no funding - that is what the present incumbent in the White House did - ordered COPS to be defunded.
COPS - who are famous - coming into the community - creating huge volumes of documentation - in our case 270 recommendations - linked to the SF Police Department.
San Francisco - once had more rogue SF Police Officers.
In 2016 the COPS document addressed the issues in a nonchalant manner.
Today SF Police Department has less Rogue Police Officers.
All the same has some SF Police Rogue Officers - who must be weeded out.
The paradox as we know - as soon as the present incumbent came into office and occupied the White House - he stopped funding to COPS - who for all practical purposes are dead.
Some entities - do not have this history in mind.
Still some wrongly presuppose the DoJ is still involved - not the DoJ but a private entity that was funded by DoJ and now does not get any funding - for all practical purposes - is non-existent.
In San Francisco the advocates who are fighting in the trenches and on the front lines - are kept out - lackeys of the SF Police Department - are bought in - to kick the can down the street.
As I said last time around we had two lackey Ms Damali Taylor who is now the Chair - talks from both sides of her mouth.
Never, ever saw her in the trenches - and never, ever saw her in the community.
DionJay Brookter from Fresno - never saw him in the community - never saw him in the trenches.
DionJay Brookster was brought in to work at Young Community Developers - that has a track record - being very corrupt.
One has just to follow their audit trail - from the days of Dwayne Jones to today.
Nancy Tung ran for SF District Attorney - lost -
now wants to be on the SF Police Commission -
not long ago she was for a Citywide Proposition -
to restrict the power of the SF Police Commission -
now she want to join the SF Police Commission -
she is sending mixed signals.
Now in 2020 two candidates both appointees - put forward by Mayor London Breed.
More - to stack the SF Police Commission with her own candidates - Nancy Tung and Geoffrey Gordon-Creed -
his law firm Hold & Sugarman.
Nancy Tung has strong ties to the Police Officers' Association - has taken money from them - from other SF Police Officers.
Nancy Tung has opposed many issues that progressive San Franciscans stand for - and many expressed against Nancy Tung's anointment to the SF Police Commission.
Right now the American Chinese community is hurting.
We need a represent who represent all - and does not have any baggage - some one whose heart is in the right place - one who has the best interest of all - not only the American Chinese community. We have other American Chinese community leaders.
Those who pander to Nancy Tung - who has a job in Alameda - who believes is doing thing her way - such dictatorial views and concepts do not work in a democracy.
I have fought hard for the American Chinese community for over 35 years plus - I know what I am talking about.
One has to know the history of the past in San Francisco - going back to 1800s - to better understand the present.
Hopefully, we all have a vision for the future - a good one for all Americans.
Those who come here to this land - the land of opportunity and hope - not discrimination and utter disrespect.
We the people must take control of the situation at hand - do not pander to the politicians.
Politicians - say one thing and do another - Mayor London Breed is not to be trusted - again and again she has been exposed with empirical data - as a liar and hypocrite.
Geoffrey Gordon-Creed -
has been around - he is NOT know by the advocates -
who have been on the frontline fight against blatant
discrimination and rogue SF Police Officers -
who shoot first and ask questions later.
When questioned about the SF Police Officers -
and the shooting of Mario Woods and others -
he openly stated he did not study the facts -
we advocates stood for Mario Woods, Alex Nieto,
Joseph Teaotui ( aka Jungle ) others.
We are still waiting for Justice - Justice for Joseph Taeotui.
Our patience is running out - for too long the SF Police Commission - has been playing with fire.
The entire SF Police Commission - and more the present Commissioners must STEP down and FADE AWAY.
Time is running out - we the people - must stand tall and represent.
The present SF Police Commission - is totally - dysfunctional.
What does the Police Commission do? Here's from its website: "The mission of the Police Commission is to set policy for the Police Department and to conduct disciplinary hearings on charges of police misconduct filed by the Chief of Police or Director of the Office of Citizen Complaints, impose discipline in such cases as warranted, and hear police officers’ appeals from discipline imposed by the Chief of Police."
ReplyDeleteI'm frankly ignorant of what it actually has done. Who is the Director of the Office of Citizen Complaints,and does he or she actually seek out and charge rogue/thug officers? There *are* thug officers. Often police protect them; they are useful,doing what others don't want to do. (Enjoy doing it too.) They need to be identified and booted. Does our commission do that? Has it? Or is it window-dressing, mayor's PR? It won't be effective unless the commission is strong, as Francisco urges.
