You would think that those in charge of the brand new San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center - would get their act together - NO.

Local contractors were invited to bid - and then rejected. I can name the contractors - but, it would not do any good.
There has NOT been enforcement by Human Rights Commission (HRC) - not that it could not be done - but -political forces have put a STOP to such - enforcement.
Plans are afoot now to move that section dealing with Local Business Enterprise (LBEs) and other choice contractor designations - to the City Administrator Office from HRC.

Espanola Jackson was there, so was Tom Ammiano - and we made it known - that the Trauma Center should stay at the current location.

Traffic impeding the ambulances - we the people in a united voice - stated our case and won.
The Bond Measure was passed.
Those that are in power today - have lost the list of the attendees - who made this project possible and who fought for the Bond Measure to be passed.
Today the SF General Hospital leadership has chosen to shun those that helped to make this project happen - turned their backs on those that should have supported. Nothing much has changed with the authorities that rake in millions - from the over $1 billion SF General Hospital budget.
At some recent event - with Mayor Lee present. Judy Guggenhime, Sue Carlisle, Barbara Garcia, the WEBCOR vice-president - spewing diatribe - but not once addressing why this project could not be finished within the budget - allocated.
Mitch Katz the past director of the SF General Hospital was a crook. Thank God he has chosen to leave the San Francisco area - I repeat he is a CROOK.
The many speakers at the recent event - have no history about how the project came to be about.

If Willie L. Brown Jr. was a decent man - he could have initiated this project - to meet the California State seismic retrofit - standards - during his eight year term. He started in 1996.

The City and County of San Francisco spends over ONE BILLION DOLLARS on its Health Care Services.
In San Francisco we have a population of about 811,000. Our City employs over 28,000 City Employees. Most of them choose Private Insurance - many of them known as Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) - such as Kaiser Health Care.
During the past ten years - for sure - emergency services at the General Health Care at SF Francisco General Hospital has spiraled to a - all low level.
Years ago the City could have started its seismic rebuild programs - but waited until the last moment to do it. Right now a major seismic rebuild in going on at SF General Hospital.
Other hospitals such as California Pacific Medical Center are planning for a huge - brand new hospital costing millions - on the site at Van Ness the old Cathedral Hotel.
Many of the indigent population suffer the most - and with Saint Luke's Hospital changing hands and handed over to California Pacific Medical Center - the entire Southeast Sector of San Francisco - has been really impacted.
The perspective of some so called experts has been that SF General Hospital has been caring for the poor in large numbers - well - those in the know - know very well; that Saint Luke has been doing a yeomen service - until the monster arrived buying up Saint Luke's - California Pacific Medical Center.
Health Maintenance Organization such as California Pacific Medical Center rape the people and make billions of dollars. Right now its nurses, the engineers that maintain the boiler plants and other heavy duty machines are on strike.
It is the same with San Francisco General Hospital - while Management get huge salaries - the Registered Nurses and other orderlies that work very hard - are treated like dirt.
There are being a system where hundreds of employees are temporary and have been for years. They are on stand by - abused by the system and this crap - must change - now.

We have our Veterans Hospitals who now treat many Veterans with disdain.
We have far too many Veterans who fought for our Nation - the United States of American - living on our streets.
The Veteran Hospitals are doing a poor job with over 900,000 Veterans - on the disability list waiting to be acknowledge and given their benefits - Nation wide.
Few know that Northern California has a large number of Veterans who have sacrificed for our Nation and are being daily - shafted. There is no one - worth the salt to take a stand for our Veterans.
In recent days some mickey mouse programs have been half cooked with a dubious person in Bevan Dufty - pretending to offer some drab programs. We have over 30,000 homes for sale in San Francisco.
We could use homes in the Presidio of San Francisco - a former Military Base to house at least 400 Veterans. The Veteran Administration is doing a poor job - and the SF General Hospital has to sustain an added service - caring for many Veterans brought in by ambulances - mostly to offer emergency services - life and death situations.

The San Francisco Ethics Commission is NOT working.
We recently found out through a study done by the Budget and Legislative Analyst that when we compare - San Francisco with Los Angeles - San Francisco's Ethics Commission - is found wanting in many pertinent - areas.
That is putting it mildly.
San Francisco and Los Angeles have similar standards linked to the functioning of the Ethics Commission. That is why the Budget and Legislative Analyst embarked on this study.
While Los Angeles dismissed only 19% of its total cases over a 7 year period ending November 2011 - San Francisco dismissed 76% of its cases.
Both cities are tasked with educating the public at large about Ethics.
More when they pertain to local elections; lobbying and other such areas affecting economic interests having in mind policy making and sound public administration.

Mr. Ruben Santana and Rubecon - completed the job - mitigated the many adverse impacts and put the job on track. 87% of the local folks were hired.
Rhonda Simmons and City Build failed to perform on this contract. So did the SF Redevelopment Agency and one Fred Blackwell who now works for the City of Oakland.
So did Mayor Gavin Newsom - Mr. Dipstick. He failed miserably on this project.
Towards; the very end Mr. Ruben Santana and Rubecorn was made a Prime - but, the last check was NOT given to
Mr. Ruben Santana.
Rubecon and Mr. Ruben Santana - had to take AIMCO to court - and to this day - he has NOT received his full payment.
A full five years plus after the project was completed - no justice, blatant discrimination - no full payment by AIMCO protected by our SF City Attorney and our SF District Attorney - other very corrupt - minions - more devils .
