Yerba Buena Island has a long history - once habited by Goats - so with this in mind - anyone that knows about Goats - should also know about vegetation. It kind of goes hand in hand.
Also over hundreds of years - all sorts of vegetation and so called non-native plants - was transported on Yerba Buena - who give the right - to novices to declare - about notion - not vetted in ruble at large - and for sure - the Muwekma Ohlone - has not been consulted.

Thousands of Ohlone remains found - and NO transparency when it come to contacting the Muwekma Ohlone - and more the public at large. The pale face is a disgrace to the human race.

Everything about the Yerba Buena Island and the development of housing and natural vegetation as it exists - on this natural island - has been thrown to the wind - the essentials not vetted and discussed by those that know - more.

I have seen this happen again and again - foremost - at the Presidio of San Francisco.

Cause soil erosion - find themselves in a fix - when they find with any clearance find stuff like " mustard gas " - which they did at the Presidio of San Francisco - then hand over their - mess to others to deal with.

Such hot spots are found all over Treasure Island - a man made island - that have adversely impacted thousands - over all these years. Innocent people told to live in unite that were contaminated.
Youth playing on Soccer Fields - that registered high levels of radioactive elements - on Treasure Island. We pleaded not to permit the children to play on such fields - again and again our pleas - were not heard - hundreds of innocent children - put in harms way - playing on soccer field on - Treasure Island.
The United States Navy - dumped all sorts of - hazardous material - all over Treasure Island - the U. S. Navy has the empirical data.
The Restoration Advisory Board to Treasure Island - tried to address the situation at hand - but to NO avail.
Right now - thousands of units are planned on Treasure Island - with approval in toto - by such corrupt folks like Linda Richardson - who have NO clue - about the contamination and pollution - all she want is the money.

Well the many sites - Yerba Buena - Treasure Island - Hunters Point - even the Presidio of San Francisco - must be abated and mitigated - and this has NOT been done.
Here are some " novices " - who purport to know some - on vegetation - reports found in a fake and much to be desired and much to be worked on - " Habitat Management Plan ".
The San Francisco Department of Environment is a JOKE - is not to be trusted - they talk the talk but cannot walk the walk.
The only decent person that worked for the SF Department of Environment - an Enterprise Department - was the Jared Blumfeld.
The present Director is a dummy - and I can tell that to her face. Have known from the time - she first came aboard - and wanted to use poison - to kill the rats in our Sewer System.
A presentation and overview given to the dubious Treasure Island and Development Authority (TIDA) - Commission - that lacks expertise - and has been anointed - by Mayor Edwin M. Lee to rubber stamp - and fast track - devious plans that will adversely impact thousands of innocent - people.
Since the year 2000 - with intent thousands of innocent people have been exposed to high level readings - of radioactive elements - on Treasure Island.
Toxic dirt has been removed from one site and dumped on other sites - all video taped - documentation that has been seen by thousands - and nothing has been done - to abate and remediate the situation at hand.

Hardly anyone worth the salt - attends the Treasure Island and Yerba Buena meetings held at City Hall - held by Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA).
There is ample authority for the Environmental Protection Agency to address the situation at hand. The other regulatory agencies too.
The Department of Toxic and Substances Control.
The Bay Area Conservation and Development Agency.
The Bay Area Regional Water Commission.
The Bay Area Air Quality and Management District - other regulatory departments - the San Francisco Health Department.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission - linked to contaminated drinking water - and leaking sewage pipes.
The Department of Public Works - that has to attend to many hazardous soil piles - electrical hubs that are aged and dangerous, failing infrastructure - and a host of other issues to long to list.
The Regulatory Agencies and Department would do well to take on TIDA - that is abusing its authority.
TIDA is a corrupt entity - that can stall plans that put in place - that require funding - and has failed the constituents - who are exposed to pollution, contamination.
Fake promises were made to the indigent and those that had fallen on bad time - to come and live on Treasure Island - and then without due notice - hundreds were told to leave - were evicted - and told to go else where.
Leases signed and given to people on Yerba Buena - too - have been told to leave - and find housing else where.
The Coast Guard will continue to occupy that portion of Yerba Buena - where they have been for a long time.
The Coast Guard and the United States Navy should not have - negotiated with any entity - be it the City and County of San Francisco - the past Mayors of San Francisco - one worse than the other.
Folks like Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi - a known mafia operative - her family has deep connections - with the Mafia - on the East Coast.
It is the same at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard - the near by Public Housing - be it Potrero Hill, Hunterview, Oakdale, Sunnyvale - all paid a hundred times over - by the Department of Defense. That for sure includes Treasure Island and Yerba Buena too - all the housing and all the facilities build by our tax payers money - through the Department of Defense (DoD).
Rogue developers such as Lennar Urban, other developers such as the John Stewart Company, Mercy Housing, Bridge Developers do not have to pay for the land.
They get the land free - and built on it - get millions from the Federal Government - the State of California - Finance Department - why are these crooks embraced to do harm to the constituents of San Francisco?
WE should mandate and see that these - nefarious entities - be mandated to build housing - for those making under $40, 000 and under $80, 000 - on those sites we deem now - as Public Housing - Potrero Hill, Huntersview, Oakdale, Sunnyvale, other Public Housing all over our City and County of San Francisco - Treasure Island and of course Yerba Buena.
Our City and County of San Francisco must cater to the disappearing middle-class - those making under $100, 000 and $150, 000.
On this land - 50% -yes, fifty percent - after the land has been mitigated and abated - the Regulatory Agencies signing on the Record of Decision (ROD) - handed over for sound development - more affordable housing - as mentioned - above.
On the contrary - all this land - thousands of areas - as much as 3000 acres plus - has been handed over to crooks like the John Stewart Company, Lennar Urban - other entities.
We want to know who is funding these nefarious developers and Property Managers - who continue to adverse impact - innocent people.
Who is fooling whom? The Housing and Urban Development had plans in place to sell the units to those living in Public Housing. That never, ever came about. Why?
There are other laws and Act the Mckinley Housing Act - that gives authority to help those in need - military personnel and others - as we could have done that - at the Presidio of San Francisco. Why did this not happen?
Few know that thousands of housing at the Presidio of San Francisco - was given to the John Stewart Company - charging rent in access of $6000 at Simmond Loop.
Over $4500 in other places at the Presidio of San Francisco - hundreds of units rented to students - each unit going for over $3000 by Baker Beach.
Who is kidding whom? I have the inventory of all the housing - on the Presidio of San Francisco, Treasure Island and Yerba Buena.
Collected all the information - all the empirical data on housing and other important facilities - including the contaminated Batteries - from 1990 to 2000.
All the land that I am talking about above - belongs to the Muwekma Ohlone - I challenge the " pale faces " to debate me.
Have a forum - where they can ask me any question - on the Patrimonial Jurisdiction of the land - and related issues.
